I have the base GT model, and I couldn’t load my mp3 files from a flash drive to the UVO player. I have to leave it plugged in in order to listen to music, and not being able to plug my phone in for navigation.
When I use android auto and google maps for navigation, the Stinger's DAB radio always turns off for good when google maps gives directions. Does anyone have an idea how to fix that.
@@unknownman1035 Does your have the optional remote start? I don't think it comes factory installed on the 18 model. I had to install it myself. The remote start key fob only has one button. You press it one time to activate the system and then a second, long press to start the car. There's a way to do it with the factory key fob, but I can't honestly remember how to do it.
Where have you been? We bought (basically) a fully loaded 2016 Grand Cherokee brand new. It had all the bells and whistles but did not have a cd player. The CD was one of the few options that vehicle did not have. We have xm radio in there along with USB and SD so it's fine. CDs are basically going the way of the dinosaur.
This guy came a long way from when he started a few years ago.... Kudos!
Time is a great teacher.
Can you show the USB Media Feature in detail? Does it play FLAC, Apple Lossless etc? Does it work with playlists or directory listing or both? ....
Does your model have remote start? If so, is it functional through the UVO mobile app?

Can we use our smart phones or watches to remote start this gt2?
No. You have to use the provided remote start remote or the key fob.
@@vegarosa69 how do use the key fob?

@@vegarosa69 understandable 💯
It would be nice, if the UVO system would find Google Map. It is much needed for better navigation.
Can the American Kia use the UVO App to start the vehicle like Canadian version?
That sounds cool. Wonder if that's a thing as well
The 2021 model Stinger over here in Europe has that feature, but I am yet to find a use case for it. Why would anyone want to remote start a car?
I am little confused, why these cars have no CD player. What is replacing this option?
Streaming via bluetooth and other options.
Same reason there isn't a cassette tape player lol
