In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the entanglement between the Mughal empire and Sikhism. In 1605 after the death of Mughal emperor Akbar, a battle of succession ensued between Khusro Mirza and Salim aka Jahangir. After Jahangir sat on the throne of Agra, Khusro rebelled and went to Lahore. During this journey, Khusro met with 5th Sikh Guru Arjan dev. Jahangir ordered Arjan dev to be jailed where he was tortured and subsequently died. Khusro spent his life in Jail and was killed by Shahjahan later. Watch the complete video to know the full story .

Little explanation: jab unko garam tave pe bithaya gaya and garm sand dali gayi to unke body pe shale pad gaye the, unko ravi River k pass le Jaya gaya tha ,mughlo ka plan tha guru sahib ko gaaye ka Maas khilane ka but guru sahib ne ravi mai nahane ko kaha or ravi mai apne pran tiyag diye.

After this 6 th guru start war against Mughals and on many he push back Mughals badly Guru Gobind singh ke maharaj was grand son of 6th Guru Sahib.Jahangir sent 6th Guru Sahib to Gawalier jail because of his revolt and after some time Guru Sahib bring other 52 Råjpüt king with him from gawalier jail. Please do some research on this incident. It called Bandichor diwas.

Please also do a Tarikh on the Sikh holocaust by Abdali in the year Feb 1762 where more than 30k Sikh men women and children were massacred by faujdars of Abdali and His Afghan forces and how Sikhs bounced back within 2 months and defeated all Abdali generals and Abdali driven back to Kabul forever. Would love you to present it as unfortunately national school curriculum of history does not cover it.
