One thing about this movie is the fact that Surinder never once pressured Taani to do sth she didn't want, and she respected him and treated him decently in return. The scene where she shows up to greet Suri's friends was a really kind thing of her to do. She may have not loved him (yet), but she still wasn't obnoxious or spiteful. Her father brought her up well.
