I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the movie!! Anyway, I just wanna put this out there: It's easy for non-Asian people to say "do what you want and not what your parents want" or "just cut off your parents". Westerners will never truly understand the TOXIC HOLD that parents have on their children in our cultures. I'm 26 y/o and I'm still TERRIFIED of my parents. I literally still have to ask permission if I want to go away on a trip w/ my friends. It's not easy to break away from them. Fortunately, GenZ and millennials are trying to fix this problem in my culture. I'm Southeast Asian. My parents decided on my brother's and my career when we were around 3 y/o. Him a lawyer, and me a doctor. We were basically groomed into thinking that's what we wanted. We never ever considered any other careers. My brother has been a successful lawyer for 5 years now. Me, I just found out I passed the physician licensure exam today. Is medicine my passion? No. But in a 3rd world country where the corrupt government has 0 interest in improving its citizen's lives, having a stable job is more practical than following one's passion. That plus the whole I-can't-disobey-my-parents thing is why I invested more than half of my life (and a lot of my parents' money) on medicine. I just make sure to indulge in my hobbies or I'll go crazy 😂

It's truly an amazing movie.

The subtitles are perfect for people who do not know Hindi. It is tough to translate Hindi to English and also keep it very close to the actual meaning. The translation of the Teacher's Day speech is a masterpiece.
I've seen this movie with different subtitles. They had no issue making most of the jokes carry over. They changed some things, but it still fit the spirit of the jokes and it never OMITTED anything. This version of the subtitles is just subpar and bland.
Fun fact, Aamir khan, the actor who played rancho was actually 44 years old when this movie came out, he was 43 at the time of filming and had already been acting in movies for 36 years as he started his acting career in 1973.

While the "Asian Difficulty" is a memed topic and often joked upon, it is very much real and the pressure it gave to kids growing up was unreal. Every Asian or part-Asian (I'm quarter Filipino) in their 20's understands this wholly. This happens a lot in poverty-stricken countries or families, where the parents entrust the entire burden and family legacy onto their kids from the moment they are born. They mostly do not see them as human, but either as a tool or an insurance policy to lift them out of the socio-economic or financial rut they are currently in. Money over passion, as the saying goes. Some of these kids do end up being successful (to be used as a wallet or bragging point to their parents' friends/neighbors), some do end up either depressed or dead (due to suicide), and some cut off ties to their family after achieving the goal that was thrust upon them.

Actually because of this movie our Indian parents mentality got changed. Now many parents don't force there kids to go to engineering or medical.. kids are free to choose the field which they like. I mean not all parents but there is definitely change. I am glad for this change .
Bahubali, KGF, RRR are regional language films. Regional language movies are no where close to bollywwod, so I would definitely suggest differentiating between them
Regional ones arent inferior either. Funnily enough Bollywood is nowadays degarding while the so called regional films are getting deserved praise! Also KGF ,RRR and Bahubali are Pan Indian films aka made for all Indian audiences not just the regional ones.
That song in between where you see the guy sitting alone with the guitar has a very deep meaning if you know the language. It goes something like... Childhood is gone, My youth is gone. Give us a moment to live. Let us live ,let us live....etc
Rancho is played by Aamir Khan, an absolute legend in Bollywood. My favorite movie of his is Lagaan (2001) which is essentially Dodgeball but it predates that movie by 3 years.
Just a huge smile on my face when I saw the thumbnail of this movie . Luv u so much all of you from India . Plz never stop reacting to Indian content 🤗🤗👍👍
You recognised Ali Fazal , who played the character of Mr.Lobo. He is also worked in ""Fast & Furious 7 (2015)"" , ""Death On The Nile"" movie with Gal Gadot.☝️☝️🙂
Our world has many thousands of distinct cultures. Learning about them makes us more understanding and tolerant of differences in others. You guys "Badd Medicine" have a great sense of humor and great at figuring stuff out and your "GENUINE REACTION" on this movie is awesome. The blending of music, drama, comedy and most importantly conveys the message of friendship. Watching this movie for the first time and enjoyed it. And for "Silencer" Omi Vaidya interesting to know he was actually born in "Yucca Valley" CA. and played many other roles.
Amazing reaction guys..loved it..if possible do review Andhadhun or Tumbbad next.. two of the epic thrillers in Indian cinema. Do read about them and share your reaction.
Funny thing about this "definition" scene is that I resonated with Rancho as a student back in the day, now as a grown up, I resonate with the professor because definitions are to the point, very consiced and compact and 100% accurate description which is supposed to be universal. If you start to explain things in simple language in exams, it will take 2 pages and whole 15-20 mins of answer time. Right? For example- gravity, let's try and explain that in simple language vs the definition. Definition takes only 2-3 lines to explain gravity, but to understand the meaning of those 2-3 lines as a first or second timer, you need simple language called explanation with examples. Just a thought.
The song zoobi doobi is genz’s childhood dance number. We as children used to dance on that song at schools, in parties, during farewells & what not. Nostalgic!

I loved it when I was a kid and I think I've re-watched this every year on my teenage years until now. It's on my top 10 favorite movies of all time together with Taare Zameen Par with Aamir Khan in it too. I hope you'll consider reacting to that as well :D Both are amazing films that stayed as a core memory for me
Our professor showed us The Great Gatsby and she skipped all kissing scenes too 😅
@@KayaaaaDe Professor? So yall grown ups, no? sjsgsk lol I guess we're all kids on their eyes

Omgggggg guys I've been watching this channel for a long time. I love Indian reactions. Please do more Indian reactions ❤️❤️
Actually because of this movie our Indian parents mentality got changed. Now many parents don't force there kids to go to engineering or medical.. kids are free to choose the field which they like. I mean not all parents but there is definitely change. I am glad for this change .
Aamir Khan is like the Tom Hanks of Bollywood. He can transform and immerse himself in his roles perfectly. 👍
Thought so also. He looks a bit like Tom Hanks in younger days.
I am Indian and I proud to be an Indian 🇮🇳 , actually this movie is my favorite .
Two words, "Mr. Bean". That's who that one actor reminds me of.
Saar we educated saarrr
That song in between where you see the guy sitting alone with the guitar has a very deep meaning if you know the language.
It goes something like...
Childhood is gone,
My youth is gone.
Give us a moment to live.
Let us live ,let us live....etc
Yeah right? They should listen to it in English
Rancho is played by Aamir Khan, an absolute legend in Bollywood. My favorite movie of his is Lagaan (2001) which is essentially Dodgeball but it predates that movie by 3 years.
Aamir khan is King khan ❤

This movie exactly shows the Asain study system 💯
Just a huge smile on my face when I saw the thumbnail of this movie . Luv u so much all of you from India . Plz never stop reacting to Indian content 🤗🤗👍👍
You recognised Ali Fazal , who played the character of Mr.Lobo. He is also worked in ""Fast & Furious 7 (2015)"" , ""Death On The Nile"" movie with Gal Gadot.☝️☝️🙂
I am from India nice reaction of us 😂 Indian no..1 move for college students....
I always watch whenever foreigners react to this movie. ❤
I'm a 2010's kid but this movie was my childhood. Amazing
Wow I can’t believe y’all reacted to this keep up the diverse workb
Amazing reaction guys..loved it..if possible do review Andhadhun or Tumbbad next.. two of the epic thrillers in Indian cinema. Do read about them and share your reaction.
One of the greatest movie in indian history ❤😅
3 idiots is best move in the world. Love from bangladesh❤❤❤❤

Best Indian movie ever , all indians have watched this
This movie is really based on a true story of most colleges in India...
Best film to show what is Indian cinema. Hatts off 3 idiots.
The song zoobi doobi is genz’s childhood dance number. We as children used to dance on that song at schools, in parties, during farewells & what not.

I would recommend to watch mindhunter next. It's great. Mindhunter is an American psychological crime thriller television series created by Joe Penhall, based on the 1995 true-crime book.
Set in the late 1970s, two FBI agents are tasked with interviewing serial killers to solve open cases.
