I was a senior at SU this year and graduated in May 1988. SU basketball played in the final game of the National Championship in '87, but lost to Indiana. SU lacrosse also won National Championship '88, '89, and '90. Those were the days for Syracuse sports. GO Cuse!
I had just moved to Va in 1987 and went to see this 'Cuse team play Va Tech. This Syracuse team to me has always been underrated!!! Seeing them live, they had such great team speed on both offense and defense !!! So fun to watch them play !!!
Sugar Bowl one of the first games i remember. Didn't realize Cuse dominated so much. Mac shoulda gone for 4th& inches at the end, would've iced the game.
cool documentary..didn't know Syracuse had a good team at one time since I was barely born when this season took place..on a funny note, I can't help but bust a gut from laughing at that stupid referee at 14:36 falling backwards on rob Moore's touchdown..😂 😂 😂 😂

I was a sophomore at Syracuse during this season and the Sugar Bowl. I am still pissed at the rules to let them tie and not have overtime.
