Briana, I just wanted to stop in and say thank you for your performance as Aerith. I played the OG back on release as a kid. I vividly remember the feelings and experience of playing it. Throughout my 122 hours to beat Rebirth, there were so many moments that brought me to tears. Of sadness, joy, and nostalgia. Your performance was a primary reason for so many of them, and I mean that in the best way possible. Thank you for taking a character that is so sweet and pure, and doing her justice for us all and many of our childhoods. I was actively avoiding going to the end because I just didn't want it to be over. I already cannot wait for the third and final game, but for now, I'll be banging my head against the hard mode wall lol.

Oh man I'm so emotional even getting to watch you play. I finished the story after 113 hours in and I can't tell you Brianna how beautifully amazing you are and talented and gifted. Your entire performance completely engulfed me with pure joy. But God damn, those final 2 chapters, no spoilers, your performance and aeriths just overall presence had me bawling tears. Not for anything sad, just what a beautiful character she is and the dialogue you have performed throughout. I'm in awe. If they had an Oscar for FF7 rebirth for best actor, you'd be right there 🤍
The "Rook's got a backbone" line is referring to the chess piece. They're making a cheeky reference to the fact that Red XIII was always hanging in the back while still being useful due to technically not being playable in the first installment. Now he's joining the party properly, deciding to fight on the front lines.

When I first played Remake, I was SO wary. Final Fantasy 7 is my favourite game, maybe my favourite piece of art, and Aerith was always my favourite character. The idea of hearing her voiced…how would it match with all the ideas in my head? How COULD it? Your performance, especially in this game, made me love the character even more. Her playfulness, her sorrow, her flirtatious side, her optimism and strength…it’s all there in your astounding performance. I’m so grateful for the work all the voice actors did, I don’t know how SE managed to find a group of people who all NAILED their characters so perfectly. My love for FF7 has only grown thanks to your work. Thank you ❤
Played the original back in the late 90s and mastered Remake; currently on my second playthrough of Rebirth on hard and loving every second! Ff7 is definitely one of my all time favs!

This is so cool. I didn't really think that we would get this remake in general, but to be able to enjoy watching the voice talent that will end up being a huge part of my memories as well. Incredible to see how FFVII has influenced so much after over 20 years.
I remember briefly realizing you were a gamer back when Remake part 1 came out, but I was way too shy to leave a comment. Four years later and I can finally say how awesome it is to be able to watch you play the game you put so much work into! Subscribed, and in for the ride!
Still working my way through Rebirth (got to Cosmo Canyon as I'm a completionist so I have to do all the region things for Chadley first before I move forward with the story). Absolutely loving the VA's from everyone. The comraderie felt even more powerful in Rebirth (and given how well Remake was that was an insane bar to try to match, let alone set it even higher). Aerith felt like she was able to open herself up much more now with her friends. That allowed so many different ways scenes could go and Briana definitely nailed it. Plus... having that little bit of sass every now and then got a big laugh out of me. Already had more than a few "need to pause it here" moments just to kinda collect myself. Hallmark of a great game and the VA's really brought them to life in ways we didn't think was possible. Awesome job to Briana and the entire cast! Can't wait to finish the next 5 chapters!!!
How did you do this, Briana? How did you flawlessly capture the voice of this character that I've been hearing in my head, going all the way back to when I was 14 years old? I'm almost 40 now, and the way you've given life to Aerith is one of the greatest game VA's I've ever heard. Even my wife, who has no nostalgic relationship to FF7, has been so deeply invested in these games, and she constantly comments on how incredibly pure and sweet and incredible Aerith is. It's been so fun watching her get completely sucked into the plight of these characters. It confirms for me what I always knew - FF7 is special. Thank you for making it more special, Briana. Square won the lottery when they found you for the English VA.

You know it makes me super happy that you are a gamer and know lore and if you don't you seek it out. I think that is also what helps me appreciate your performances. I feel like while there is a team making this game, you as Aerith go the extra mile to understand her and the characters around her so you can give a better performance in relation to the lines you record. A big part of what makes her special in English is you and I can't imagine anyone else ever voicing her after you've voiced her. I rarely like English voice overs, but Remake and Rebirth just hit so right and you all just did a stunning job.

It's so weird that I haven't played FF7 since 1997 but I remember so much of it. I had purposely hadn't watched any of the previews or trailers and just straight up cried when I started playing it or the first time and stepped foot in the grasslands. So many memories came flooding back and I was just in a world of euphoria.

The fact that the static gets worst at 1:54:10 would mean that this interaction seems to have some gaps with Cloud.

This game has taken my top game I’ve ever played, honestly what an emotional game and I loved it. 100 hours finished my first play through, and I CANNOT wait for part 3 of the trilogy. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart, it’s simply a masterpiece.

3:00:30 Personally, I played through the entire game trying to feel in character. Made a lot of times I'd steer clear of chairs. Sometimes Aerith or Tifa would run into one and I'm like "Aerith come on. Get it together." lol
I like to think its Jenova influencing Sephiroth the way they impose flashes of her face over Sephiroth's in the basement scene "seems" to hint at that.
Just finished my second playthrough and got the platinum trophy. This is the playthrough I'm most looking forward to watching as there’s so many great Aerith moments in Rebirth. I hope you get the Aerith dates although it would be kinda funny if you didn't.

My playthrough is at 130 in-game hours and I haven’t finished the main story yet NOR all of the side stuff even though I’ve done most of it. Im definitely in the final moments, but damn I can’t imagine having played it twice already. FWIW I got all the Tifa date stuff which I’m happy about.
@@BuddyChy I took my vacation the week after the game dropped lol. My final time for the platinum was 185 hours most of which is from the first playthrough. Your second playthrough will be drastically shorter then the first since you can just fast travel everywhere and you no longer need to do any of the world intel stuff besides beating the "boss" of each region for a manuscript. I got Aerith and Yuffie's date, but I reloaded my save so I can get Aerith's second date instead. I pretty much ignored Tifa lol.

Idk what date I wanna try next, but I’m probably going to have a hard time getting myself to do Aerith because, not only have I already seen it from someone else, but I would feel wrong, as if I were cheating lol, by not going with Tifa. @@BuddyChy I felt the same way when I did the Yuffie dates on my second playthrough. I did all the dates using chapter select afterwards except for Tifa's and I think they're all pretty good. I think I actually like Yuffie's skywheel date more then Aerith's. It was a really cute and even added a bit of lore from Crisis Core.
Like so many of us, I remember 'hearing' these characters lines in my head as a 14-year old playing the original FF7 on it's release and you have surpassed my own imagination in bringing Aerith to life in this game and Remake before it. I've had the joy (and full range of other emotions) in experiencing this story again now and sharing the fun and less frightening 'adult' moments with my 4 year old daughter and Aerith is her favorite character too (it's all about the attitude & princess attire)! Learning that voice actors like yourself bring these characters to life and that is a possible career option has been a revelation for her, so know that you've maybe inspired a future voice actress! Thank you for adding to cherished memories with your performance and helping me to share some with my girl. You're a real one!

Hey Briana , ive decided to immerse myself with three streams running concurrently - Gamers Little Playground Cutscenes vid & complete playthrough (at 42hrs) and Yours (as you were so emotional thru Remake ❤). I know that other streamers have had problems with soundtrack DMCs , so it makes sense to stay official. I am just so glad that someone I follow has such import in the crafting of this legendary recrafting🎉🎉🎉. Will enjoy every second
Without spoiling anything, the thing I've loved most about the remakes is that it's allowed me to play FF7 again for the 1st time. Which sounds like it doesn't make sense. We who loved the original, who know the story end to end, who chased down every theory on how to bring Aerith back, the remake is even better than a 1 for 1 update. We know how the story is supposed to unfold. And sometimes it does. Other times not but we still end up at the same outcome. And sometimes it's different. That lil bit kept me from knowing what was going to happen, and allowed me to enjoy the game like the 1st time even after playing the story countless times.
This is the series I have been waiting for. I have already 85 hours in my first playthrough and I look forward to see Briana’s reaction to everything lol

Absolutely loving the VA's from everyone. The comraderie felt even more powerful in Rebirth (and given how well Remake was that was an insane bar to try to match, let alone set it even higher).
Aerith felt like she was able to open herself up much more now with her friends. That allowed so many different ways scenes could go and Briana definitely nailed it.
Plus... having that little bit of sass every now and then got a big laugh out of me.
Already had more than a few "need to pause it here" moments just to kinda collect myself. Hallmark of a great game and the VA's really brought them to life in ways we didn't think was possible.

How did you do this, Briana? How did you flawlessly capture the voice of this character that I've been hearing in my head, going all the way back to when I was 14 years old? I'm almost 40 now, and the way you've given life to Aerith is one of the greatest game VA's I've ever heard. Even my wife, who has no nostalgic relationship to FF7, has been so deeply invested in these games, and she constantly comments on how incredibly pure and sweet and incredible Aerith is. It's been so fun watching her get completely sucked into the plight of these characters. It confirms for me what I always knew - FF7 is special.

You know it makes me super happy that you are a gamer and know lore and if you don't you seek it out. I think that is also what helps me appreciate your performances. I feel like while there is a team making this game, you as Aerith go the extra mile to understand her and the characters around her so you can give a better performance in relation to the lines you record. A big part of what makes her special in English is you and I can't imagine anyone else ever voicing her after you've voiced her. I rarely like English voice overs, but Remake and Rebirth just hit so right and you all just did a stunning job.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having a war with all the moveable objects and furniture.
It's so weird that I haven't played FF7 since 1997 but I remember so much of it. I had purposely hadn't watched any of the previews or trailers and just straight up cried when I started playing it or the first time and stepped foot in the grasslands. So many memories came flooding back and I was just in a world of euphoria.

1:52:09 Not to go into spoilers to much. But, if anyone has looked into the Final Fantasy 7 novel "Trace Of Two Pasts" and know about Crisis Core, it would not make sense for him to visit his mother. The fact that the static gets worst at 1:54:10 would mean that this interaction seems to have some gaps with Cloud.
I knew playing Remake and Rebirth with a full 7.2.4 system was the right choice. Your voice acting is wonderful and deserves to sound clear and clean on proper speakers. Thank you for bringing back some of the most wonderful magic I lived in my teens. :)

This game has taken my top game I’ve ever played, honestly what an emotional game and I loved it. 100 hours finished my first play through, and I CANNOT wait for part 3 of the trilogy. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart, it’s simply a masterpiece.

I finished the game today and I really have to apploud you for doing such a superb job, again! The intensity of emotions and the passion (especially in the latter half of the game), it was incredible. You truly are Aerith.
3:00:30 Personally, I played through the entire game trying to feel in character. Made a lot of times I'd steer clear of chairs. Sometimes Aerith or Tifa would run into one and I'm like "Aerith come on. Get it together." lol
I like to think its Jenova influencing Sephiroth the way they impose flashes of her face over Sephiroth's in the basement scene "seems" to hint at that.
It is really a compliment to say that even knowing you and your content, I never think about it while Aerith’s talking, I only hear Aerith!

Just finished my second playthrough and got the platinum trophy. This is the playthrough I'm most looking forward to watching as there’s so many great Aerith moments in Rebirth. I hope you get the Aerith dates although it would be kinda funny if you didn't.
Um…excuse me? SECOND playthrough? Lmao how? I’ve been grinding since launch day (aside from work). My playthrough is at 130 in-game hours and I haven’t finished the main story yet NOR all of the side stuff even though I’ve done most of it. Im definitely in the final moments, but damn I can’t imagine having played it twice already. FWIW I got all the Tifa date stuff which I’m happy about.
@@BuddyChy I took my vacation the week after the game dropped lol. My final time for the platinum was 185 hours most of which is from the first playthrough. Your second playthrough will be drastically shorter then the first since you can just fast travel everywhere and you no longer need to do any of the world intel stuff besides beating the "boss" of each region for a manuscript. I got Aerith and Yuffie's date, but I reloaded my save so I can get Aerith's second date instead. I pretty much ignored Tifa lol.

Idk what date I wanna try next, but I’m probably going to have a hard time getting myself to do Aerith because, not only have I already seen it from someone else, but I would feel wrong, as if I were cheating lol, by not going with Tifa. Anyone else makes it more of a friend date imo which I’d be more comfortable with rather than a romantic one.
@@BuddyChy I felt the same way when I did the Yuffie dates on my second playthrough. I did all the dates using chapter select afterwards except for Tifa's and I think they're all pretty good. I think I actually like Yuffie's skywheel date more then Aerith's. It was a really cute and even added a bit of lore from Crisis Core.

I just finished it yesterday. I’m tempted to start a brand new run and keep track with your playthrough just to experience it again through your eyes
Like so many of us, I remember 'hearing' these characters lines in my head as a 14-year old playing the original FF7 on it's release and you have surpassed my own imagination in bringing Aerith to life in this game and Remake before it. I've had the joy (and full range of other emotions) in experiencing this story again now and sharing the fun and less frightening 'adult' moments with my 4 year old daughter and Aerith is her favorite character too (it's all about the attitude & princess attire)! Learning that voice actors like yourself bring these characters to life and that is a possible career option has been a revelation for her, so know that you've maybe inspired a future voice actress! Thank you for adding to cherished memories with your performance and helping me to share some with my girl. You're a real one!

I have been WAITING for this playthrough! I am barely a couple seconds into you talking, but seeing you cry also makes me cry. I just wanted to voice how phenomenal of a job you did for Aerith again in Rebirth. The way you breathed life into her changed so much for me in Remake and you outdid yourself again in Rebirth. Her character means so much to me and that is 100% thanks to your portrayal. I could always feel the love that you have for her and that definitely extended into the love I have for Aerith now, even moreso than in the OG. So thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hey Briana , ive decided to immerse myself with three streams running concurrently - Gamers Little Playground Cutscenes vid & complete playthrough (at 42hrs) and Yours (as you were so emotional thru Remake ❤). I know that other streamers have had problems with soundtrack DMCs , so it makes sense to stay official. Without spoiling anything, the thing I've loved most about the remakes is that it's allowed me to play FF7 again for the 1st time. Which sounds like it doesn't make sense.
We who loved the original, who know the story end to end, who chased down every theory on how to bring Aerith back, the remake is even better than a 1 for 1 update. We know how the story is supposed to unfold.
And sometimes it does. Other times not but we still end up at the same outcome.
And sometimes it's different.
That lil bit kept me from knowing what was going to happen, and allowed me to enjoy the game like the 1st time even after playing the story countless times.
This is the series I have been waiting for. I have already 85 hours in my first playthrough and I look forward to see Briana’s reaction to everything lol
