Danny Meyers from LaPorte, Indiana invented mud racing over the mud. Back when it was "mud bog racing" he was the first to design and build a truck (Blazer turned truck call 'Short and Sweet') with enough horsepower, suspension, and cut tires) that would skim over top of the mud/water. He broke/set every record at every track he raced and continued braking his own records for years. He still runs Meyers 4X4 Shop in LaPorte and has countless national record plaques hanging on the wall. His records are surely broken by now since he's been retired from racing for some time now. He is our local legend and I still love seeing his legacy of guys racing over mud/water rather than through it. Very little beats the sound of horsepower.

Clowers Hiball not only your mud. Lol. Every mud turns into clay if it mixes with water. Like a smoothie... The thicker particles becomes thinner and everything becomes like oil difficult for the wheels to get rid of it and to grip. That's why it's better to be between the first or wait a little between each run.
Cuz he has no door, the tires are damn big you can see almost at the end he turns his wheels to the left side which aims the mud launch right at him :)

It was one of the best pits around as it had a natural underground spring feeding it._ _As God as my witness, in either '85 or '86 there were so many trucks entered and so much mud slung out of the pit, by 10 or 11pm the pit was so deep you couldn't see the trucks from the stands until they came up and out the other end. xD_ _These were tall jacked up trucks not the low slung buggies like today._ _We finished that night @ 2am. I'll never forget that one event._
You can't play with these boys unless you got at least 2,000 ponies under the hood, and massive testicles behind it. Even the slowest rigs out there are some bad bitches. That one chick got roost slapped hard, bet that one stung a tit. I can't even watch dirt track without eye pro, this looks dangerous to your peepers.
