Allotment Tour May 2024 Grow Harvest Eat

May started out with hot sunny weather and you could tell summer was on the way. However, the last couple of weeks, the weather has turned and we've had a lot of rain. Most plants (and weeds) have loved the rain and putting on a load of growth.

Oh man! I have had such a nightmare with my Tommy bobs - but thankfully, after the third sowing, I now have some specimens to grow on. New Sub Here! This is my first year growing spuds - so far so good! I'm looking forward to growing LOADS OF SPUDS next year! Good luck!

I can totally relate my tomato plants are either crap size or slug dinner. We have had loads of cold and rain here it’s more like March 😭. Yes fruit will like the rains. All looking good though despite the weather. Have a super week, Ali 🌧️🌧️🇨🇦
