Hey, Bill & Lisa!!! I’m discovering (and loving) your channel. Where did you guys get those Frozen Hurricanes? I could tell from the look on Lisa’s face that they are quite potent! LOL
Great video. You explain the flavors of New Orleans soooo well. That's a city one could definitely spend time in exploring all the offerings like the Plantations and the Bayous and even downtown has some great food. This video was awesome. Thank you guys so much. Really enjoyed it.☺️
@@billandlisa I love your vlogs. I have to support my hometown peeps. Love you guys. I enjoy your vlogs soooo much. My bucket list has grown exponentially! Lol💕🙋♀️🌺
The cemetery was amazing! Beautiful how you told us about the different crypts. I’m not sure what they call them. But wow it was great! I want biscuits ! Thanks so much Bill & Lisa! 👻🎃
The map the office gave us called them tombs. There were so many other notable people buried there dating back to the Civil War. Highly recommend visiting here if you have a couple hours to explore. Those eggs Benedicts.. Wow!
Just came back from New Orleans last week. One of my favorite cities. Cafe Du Monde Beignets best ever melt in your mouth. Willie Maes I had the best fried catfish ever my sister and best friend said chicken was delicious. You guys should go to Deanies Seafood Resturant ! Great video ❤️
Another great video guys. You made me so hungry especially with that yummy fried chicken. But everything looked good too. Glad u took us on another adventure. Love all the places you are finding. So fun. Until next one, safe travels🙏🛩💕
Willie Mae's Scotch house I've seen plenty of shows about her famous chicken an her granddaughter took over the place it's on my wish list of places to travel to eat , thanks lisa an bill , peace
I discovered you guys channel looking for Vegas eats. You guys are great. You travel similar to me and my wife. We find good food wherever we travel. We also have two of the same favorite places: New Orleans and Vegas! Thanks for the great content.
Hello Bill&Lisa. That chicken looks Amazing.I love fried chicken. That breakfast looked Very good.BBQ looked great. You had alot of my favorite things.Thank you for sharing.💗💛💗💛
I had to watch this New Orleans Classic Video again ! I miss going to the Big Easy, and eating Oysters at Acme ! The Joint has outstanding BBQ ! I'm just 75 miles away and can't wait to go back ! When I place an order at the Cafe d' Mone , I request my order to be well done. The outside is really crispy, and inside is almost hollow ! Now I think I'll watch your new Mexican related Video ! Stay Safe, and KEEP on EATING 🤐
I've been binge watching your videos. Willie Mae is my maternal grandmother's name. I can't wait to be able to visit NOLA. Being a foodie myself, I enjoy watching you two on your food adventures. Although, it's slight torture lol. Keep up the good work & thanks for sharing!
I'm so happy you included the cemetery. I saw it on your FB page. That Angel is so beautiful. Almost as beautiful as that fried chicken and banana pudding! *insert drool emoji* It's a dream of mine to go to NOLA during October.
We're glad we went to the cemetery too. That Angel of Grief is photographed by many photographers and artists and sold around the city. Hope you get the chance to visit NOLA!
you guys put a smile on our faces as usual. Always fun to go along with you on your adventures. That was some primo looking smoked meat for sure. And to top it off, I coulda swore I saw Old Elvis right behind you...dude had some BIG sideburns going on. Yep, I knew he didn't die... :-)
When I seen that building collapsed I instantly thought of you two. Thank God you were not there at that time. As always my mouth watered the whole video. That fried chicken oh my I wish one day I can try it. Love and look forward to every video you two post.
Thanks Tanya. We did walk to the Hard Rock site the first night. The Police closed off around 2 blocks around the site for safety reasons. Very sad and unfortunate event. Hope you do get to visit NOLA one day, you just never know!
Went to Willie Mae's per your reviews it was so darn yummy ! Them Butterbeans was so tasty and flavorful, chicken juicy and delicious could have sat there all day eating chicken.
I'm a NOLA native and I don't care for Cafe du Monde's beignets because they're dough-y. I like a more hollow beignet. Not sure if you've been to Loretta's Pralines but I'm told her beignets are lighter and they put CDM to shame. Can't wait to try them on my next visit home. I used to like a place called Morning Call but it's been many years since I've had it so I'm not sure if its still as good, and I don't believe there's a location near the French Quarter whereas Loretta's is in the Quarters. I'm glad you guys got plenty of good eating. 🤗⚜
We walked by Loretta's Pralines many times and stopped by for free samples of their pralines, but now we'll have to try their beignets! Thanks for the recommendation!
You guys have to take the Greyline NOLA Cocktail tour with guide Joe Gendusa. He's the best, a real NOLA historian. I have taken his tour I think 8 times with different people and everyone is blown away by how fun it is.
Bill & Lisa's food and travel vlog would make for some good vlogging, it goes to about 5 or 6 iconic NOLA bars to try their famous drinks, and also teaches history and takes you places like the Mardi Gras museum on the upper floor of Arnaud’s.
Great video! My boss is headed there on Friday, I now have some new places to recommend to her. I think my husband and I need to go back again sometime soon. Next time try the BBQ shrimp at Deannies on Iberville street. Delicious!
I also loved your other N. Orleans video recently! I appreciate this. Was wondering if you could give tips on how to save on airfare also! Like what season or days of the week would be a better deal etc and whatever you think would be helpful both nationally or internationally. Thanks a bunch!
That fried chicken looked the bomb, the pork eggs benedict looked pretty good, and of course you can't be in NO w/o the gumbo. I noticed Lisa gets louder as the night went on...hehe
I'm keeping it short this week (usually write a book 🤣): fried chicken, BBQ, beignets, gumbo and purple drink - AWESOME WEEKEND! BTW - do you think you will do a live stream some time?
Awesome weekend for sure! Live Stream? Maybe 5-10 peeps will join in. haha That sounds crazy to us, but if we ever do, Vegas might be the most probable location to live stream from.
@@billandlisa That would be great. You have over 6000 subscribers. If you give us a heads up that you plan a live stream and approximate date and time you will definitely have more than 10 show up. Maybe a Q&A on a weekend you don't fly out anywhere. 😁 Just a thought.
Bill & Lisa's food and travel vlog We liked the fish with ocean sauce, but the Chicken Vincent was “out of this world” good. It was the best dish that we had in New Orleans. The waitress recommended the dish. I’m glad that we took her advice.
Last visit to NOLA was before the shutdown. Very safe in the tourist areas, but gets a bit weird after 1-2am. lol Hard Rock Cafe was open, no casino in the cafe. The Hard Rock Hotel that they were building partially collapsed (Google the news about it), not sure when that project will resume.
Next time on Bourbon St try Vieux Carrie Pizza. I think its one of the greatest slice shops in the nation. Of course I'm no Pizzaiolo...wait, yes I am. I have never heard your back story but if I had to guess, you work for the airlines. Or and I hope the term doesn't offend, trust fund kids. tell us your story.
My friends and I went there in 2010, went to Metairie to see the weeping angel. Much smaller than we expected.
You are so real! I lived in Nawlins for years. Real people.
You two are just the cutest couple ever! Love these videos!!! Keep enjoying life that is the key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Reynard!
