1) Arp (reverb and echo, c minor / or middle note one up -> major mode) 2) Chord from a Song (spread around the chords and add notes , add you to them) 3) vocal acapella (got key and bpm, just harmonize with it) (calibrate brain by using root note (here c), later up an octave ) 4) use a metho you never used before 5) start with a drum ebat and make only 1 chord (by starting with the root note, then 5th and 7th and lastly minor third and second half change ) [always drop a bass:D]
@@treyhudson73 hell yea lol, i make up a random melody and then it sounds like a song I know then i just continuously play the song by memory of how it sounds for hours hahaha.
This song shined, not because of the arrangement, but because of it's lyrics. It resonates with all of our hearts in a society where it is increasingly hard to find a relationship where we can meet the other persons expectations and we keep thinking that we are willing to lower our expectations but we actually arent.
I’m so glad to learn from your site. The best things I learned so far I think is to learn one new thing each track. And keep going that way and using a reference song. Also, as a worker, opening the “daw”, although I’m using a Roland MC-101 and a Tascam DP24SD, instead of daw, anyway, to open my gear every day. Because I would think I need a long time period to work on it and by the time I got there I would have to relearn my equipment from square 1ish. So this is going to be really great. Im a really good song writer but was stopped up by overwhelm trying to have everything perfect on the first go. You are a pretty smart guy. Great job! Also as a contribution back to you. I think if you get a Roland MC-101 you will really dig the sounds and super easy arrangement method on their in combination with your daw.
this video is sick 🤮... Every single thing you did just made me feel like How come I haven't signed up with your classes yet? What am I so afraid of? You are so savvy and you teach so good! I just got to bite the bullet. Thank you kindly for this gem. I would have missed this if my notification bell was off..
Great advice @Alex Rome your videos are always so useful! I remember the reason I started following you was because you were a Logic user… When did you switch to Ableton live and why?
Hey Alex, I've just purchased your EDM bootcamp bundle pack, and despite asking several times for the credentials I'm still not getting them, I need a hand with this.
I just find a random scale and play some chords in it. Like not in their root form but just random keys until it sounds good. Then I find a bassline and then a drum beat. Then the melody basicly writes itself.
When I ever try to start a song and sounds similar to another song I give up cause I’m afraid of been accused it sounds the same lol and not be creative but this vid just help me 😅
Hi! watching you from nigeria💚 i have a question pls. if i want make a song what should i start with first, recording the voice or making the beat first? urgent response pls tnk u
that "yeah" at 3:44
I felt it 😭👍🏾

Hi Alex, your videos are soo inspiring thank you so much! What is that bass sound at 9:33 min?

Not a piano! - Ground Breaking Thought 😂

90% I start song with chord progression.
Sometimes drums, sometimes started by bassline
First one sounds like something off the Road 96 Soundtrack
