Last round - the silver 6 was placed in the research slot but didn’t prompt the re-roll. As the black six was placed in the top left spot, they could have been switched but that still would have prompted the re-roll of the one which could have altered how many ships reached the base in the second column - but with only two hit points, I think it still would have been a win no matter the result of the re-roll.
I printed off the small paper version last night and am hooked. I will be making the XXL version tonight with some thin cardboard. I an definitely going to pick the commercial one up when it gets released.
Thanks for the walkthrough. Got this printed and ready to go later. I like the clever balancing of higher dice values for both you and the enemy along with the coloured dice re-roll mechanic. Makes it more a puzzle than push your luck.
Looks good. No printer access so will have to hold off on the pnp for the moment! Liked most of the decision making in the game. The least inspiring part was the damage to your own base. It would be nice if the columns of the buildings and the damage suffered were somehow linked. Very impressed with the double sided boards. Perhaps the last space on the city board should be the Jaffa cake supply room?
At 31:16, you put the 2-die in the top -1 slot. Could you put it in the fourth row (the robot slot), and make the space invader move two spaces into the explodey space?
In 44:26 you place a die on a tunnel. I think you're only allowed to do that in order to excavate, but that tunnel is above the excavator, so it should not be legal.
I’m looking forward to seeing this launch. But all the talk of ‘little minis’ has me worried it could be over produced? What I love about this games like Orchard, is lower cost for high depth game.
Missed the stream. This looks interesting! Inspired by Deep Space D6, although very different. Will this be print and play ONLY or will it be available in retail?
As promised, here is the link to the updated files (together with a short story from the development): blog.czechgames.com/2020/04/21/under-falling-skies-free-print-and-play-game/

Nice design and well explained

Looks fantastic! A really tense little puzzle game. I agree, it looks like it would definitely work with 2 players!
This is a nice addition to the CGE catalog! Space Invaders meets Pulsar!
I like it! Nice dice placement. Question: 18:24 Should the Robo dice changed to 5 as the room have a „-1“?
yep. good spot. This wasn't picked up at the time unfortunately.
Gaming Rules! Good to know thank you I was not sure about it

i enjoyed the pnp of this game greatest thing is its a 9 card game meaning one sheet. nice vid paul
Great game! ... Shouldn't the 2 robots have been created with a -1 modifier?
Martín Borda oops. I think you are right. Shame this wasn’t spotted at the time!

Ori Avtalion I think it is ok. Checking with the designer. The tunnels count as spaces I believe.
Great play and great game.

Gnome CGE will be publishing it through normal channels later in the year
@@GamingRulesVideos Excellent!
I believe the first robot should have been a 5 because of the - 1 modificator?
I noticed this game on the voting list. Looks like a nice little Space Invaders variant game.
The hardest part of filming this video was not making the space invaders noises as the ships move down :)
