What a coincidence... I wanted to watch some of Maria's older videos and came across this. One of her drawings is for March 8th - International Women's Day, which is today!
Sooo.. I stumbled upon this after many years. I love this. I don't know if you're still into origami, but if you are would you maybe consider making another origami tutorial? 😁
If anyone here is like me and enjoys the ASMR feeling from origami folding, I would highly recommend watching Tavin's Origami Tutorials. You can clearly hear the paper folding and Tavin has a very calm voice.
I remember when I was 12 we had a short -lived 'origami club' at school (and the fact that it was 10 years ago terrifies me and makes me feel old LOL!). I remember being terrible at it; I'm bad at anything that requires symmetry and any kind of perfection - so I'm very appreciative that you can make pretty things! Also - omg paper noises and soft words and bleeeeeeeehhhhh. My brain melted in the best way.
I adore this video. I do this kind of stuff as well, and it feels good to show people who appreciate it. It really takes a lot of time and effort and you are so talented! I so appreciate handmade things, I think people underestimate them today, but they take a lot of time and creativity and they’re so interesting. I love your videos. I’ve been a fan for a long time. ❤
Thank you so much. These videos are very relaxing and I learned how to make ninja stars out of post its. I already have two, a yellow star and a multi-colored one.
Hi Maria, I realize this video is really old but I hope you still draw and do oragami for enjoyment. You have great potential for graphic design. You have that creative eye for detailed simplicity. It's wonderful!
I love that you take something like a ninja star, an instrument of death, and make it all cutesy with pink paper and hearts. "Draw something on it, something cute" haha.
I had never seen this video until last night, and you know - I just wanted to tell you that while I was watching it I thought "I think Maria has a knack for drawing, I hope she nurtures it!" To my eyes, it looks like you know how to *see* which is the biggest part of drawing well. You said a few times you weren't sure where it comes from, I interpret that a sign your right side of the brain is kicking in while you do it - I really wanted to recommend the Betty Edwards book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" to you, you might love it and get a lot out of it (I certainly have over the years! IMO it's probably the only book an artist needs:)) Keep on drawing :)) and p.s. thanks for all the relaxing videos :)
You're really very talented. I can't draw hands either, they are pretty tough to draw when they're drawn close up. Much easier to do from a distance, but then it's all about perspective and size in comparison to the rest of the body. Loved the doodles and stuff thought they were great, and those anime eyes were really cool.
OMG. That was so relaxing and I think you have beautiful hands and nails. I watch all your videos and you put me to sleep everytime. How odd is that when someone tells you, you put them to sleep when you talk and that is actually a compliment. lol. Keep up the good work and please keep the videos coming. BTW, your husband is a VERY lucky man.
this is funny, i used to watch origami and craft making videos thinking i was a total wierdo. and all the while i was hoping to find a craft video with someone speaking softly while doing their thing..then i accidentally came across a whisper video, then boom! i descovered the whole whisper/softly speaking/ hand movment sound ASMR community. now im hopelessly addicted.seriously when my internet goes down (which is pretty often) and i cant get on to youtube, i feel like a crack fiend in withdrawl
Ah I love these old videos. You've changed so much, definitely more confident now. And the accent is so different to now... Was it more New York back then? 🤔 😘😘😘😘
Sweet drawings skills you got there. I especially love your drawings of Roger and Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit? has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid).
It's a transformer ninja starrrr!!! :D Just kidding, I'm not a troll. I love your videos, so relaxing, you're one of the only whisper-ers that I listen to!
I think you draw really well, plz make another Asmr video about your other drawings, assuming you’ve made more! And what do you do for work? never heard you mention it in any other videos.
@GentleWhispering wooo, thankyou :D! don't get me wrong, I love your soft spoken videos too! especially this one, I'm actually going to try the origami thing with my little brother haha. :)
I'd started watching your videos lately and I wish you could show how to make those flowers... what type of paper do you use? I love how different they are. Plz do more origami demos...ur a good teacher
Watching this reminded me, is it possible you could do a video teaching Cyrillic letters and simple beginners Russian? It would be much more relaxing and entertaining that just Googling it or watching other non-relaxing videos.
Oh what wonderful doodlings! XD You should definitely try and make tutorials on some of these! I'm a needle-felter, so perhaps I could try and needle felt them and send a pic to you! Love Serbia x
@RCC1297 you probably already figured this out, but the player has an option on the top bar (over the videos), to the left, that says "turn on/turn off" auto play. Also, if you have it on, but you're using a different tab (say, you are listening to this but working on Google), I suggest you just open this (youtube) on a separate window, not a tab. If it's in a tab, it'll automatically stop if you are not viewing the youtube tab at that moment
I love these older videos of hers and how she used to say “togetha”. :)
00juls00 I love how she says that word too
Me three 💓💓💓
Yes! Love it
I miss when she spoke this soft. I'm sure it's very hard to do but this is what made me love her
it’s called youthful insecurity
Usually, my triggers are auditive.
But in your case, much of the effect lies in your hand movements!
So relaxing!
love seeing her new videos then going back to some older ones... how times have changed, she just gets better and better
What a coincidence... I wanted to watch some of Maria's older videos and came across this. One of her drawings is for March 8th - International Women's Day, which is today!
the thought of a customer being mean or rude to you makes me very sad..

so talented...wow
It's still so sad to me that someone made her feel like her folder was tacky...I love her drawings and her wonderful way of viewing things
When I listen to your videos on my speakers my cat falls asleep too. It's so cute.
You are extremely talented. Your drawings are so intricate and beautiful.
These older videos tend to be really tingly😓😓❤️
Flipping pages nd talking softly is the best

You sounded extra cute when you said "that's a piggy", haha love it! :D
You drawings are great! The eyes are amazing, and NOT easy to draw. All of the designs are so beautiful. You are very talented. :)
I am terrible at origami so I found this to be totally impressive!! You also draw really well. You're just full if surprises :)
Thank you so much. These videos are very relaxing and I learned how to make ninja stars out of post its. I already have two, a yellow star and a multi-colored one.

Anyone here that is purely here for the origami and is complaining about how she's speaking softly, please read the title and her channel name.

You take the videos you like and make a playlist. That's the only way I know.
Oh what wonderful doodlings! XD You should definitely try and make tutorials on some of these! I'm a needle-felter, so perhaps I could try and needle felt them and send a pic to you!
