I really enjoyed this! I always wondered why Remlap was a city name and didn't make the connection that it was Palmer spelled backwards since I'm not from that area.
How did Slapout Alabama get it's name? I've hear one story, but I'd like to know for sure, because the story sounds a little goofy, but then again we Alabamians do have a tendency to do things a little different than the rest of the country, lol 😆. It makes PERFECT SENSE to us.
