The journey from Ealing Broadway to Ealing Common takes about 3 minutes, and you can walk/run it in about 6 minutes, which means if you just miss a train it might be quicker to walk/run it. One of those train journeys that seems to take ages for the distance that it is.

There's rumoured to be some "Steam on the District" trains planned to operate in July of this year, it's said to be from Ealing Broadway to High Street Kensington.

I don't understand why they wouldn't want to extend the platforms at Dagenham East and Hornchurch since there's so much room left to the west. Also, why is it so bumpy at the Dagenham East points?

Update: for selective door operation they have done works so now all doors open at these stations

Why couldn’t they keep the d stock trains. Do you guys prefer the d stock or the s stock.
I noticed that if there's a pause between the station announcement and next station announcement, it might be because the rear doors do not open at the station itself but it is not played in the other 6 carriages. Am I right or wrong?
No. The pause is simply the way the announcements are spliced together. It's very noticeable on the refurbished 1996 stock.
Am I the only one who heard 'The next station is Gilsder Road' at Earl's Court?

I'm in 2018 and those old stocks are no more and they mostly use s stocks now
