I LOVE Hershel his sense of humour and personality is what the post apocalyptic world needs. Also Milton was right about documenting all this info it would be good history.
Martinez is pretty cool. If I had a nickel for every cool gym teacher that uses a baseball bat on this show I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t much, but it’s weird it happens twice.
Merle is such a dick sometimes and what he did to Glenn was unacceptable but man he is such a great character. He is so useful to the team too. A soldier and he is smart too
I love the return from the meeting scene with the music. It shows how far things have fallen from laughing at Glenn and Maggie in the guard tower, or Woodbury block party BBQs. Shits fallen apart
So now Rick has this big dilemma Like Rick said He probably will kill us anyway. But then again like he said what if he’s not What if this is the answer. And it’s a tricky decision because they have just found and secured something that remotely looks like an actual Home. So I understand his struggle and I love that he told Hershel because if anyone can talk him out of it it’s him.
Don't say "don't switch up" he is bringing a thoughtful dialog of possibilities that they could use to have an advantage against them. Great episode bros!
I love the Governor’s story about his wife. I always thought it was a sincere moment to bond with Rick and allow Rick to let his guard down. I also got the feeling that Philip was taking different approaches to test and manipulate Rick The story about his wife seemed to bother Rick because it mirrors Lori’s death to a degree.
Yeah AND it mirrors his experience talking to ghost Lori on the phone. But if you've read TWD Rise of the Governor you'll realize that the story about his wife is most likely BS and made up just to get into Rick's head.
Rise Of The Governor is the comics version's backstory. The Governor is Philip Blake in the show universe, and Penny is his daughter. The show version had a brother named Brian, that name is listed in his notebook. It was a mixture sincerity, and manipulation. @@AlejoConejo-vb8ln
@GuheTV Yeah the book is mostly based on the comic version but only because it came out before the show. The actor, David Morrisey, admitted that he read the book before filming to prepare and understand the character. Meaning most of what happens in the book may as well have happened in the series too. Everything with the Blake Brothers, Nick Parsons, Penny, and that SICK TWIST at the end of the book. If you assume it all happened it still fits the continuity of the show.
@@AlejoConejo-vb8ln You are correct. It was confirmed by Scott Gimple, that Philip was very benevolent at the start out the outbreak. He also confirmed, that Penny's death was pre-woodbury and that it was the start of his descent into villainy. The twist didn't occur in the show universe, Penny is his daughter. An event happened, that severely damaged his moral compass. My theory is that he killed his brother, after Brian discovered that he was trying to feed someone to Penny, maybe.
@@AlejoConejo-vb8ln Nick, Bobby and Brian were alive at the start of the outbreak, Philip's notebook confirms this, and Brian definitely wasn't a bad guy. He talks about his heroic brother in S4. Bobby died before they found Woodbury. Philip tried to feed someone to Penny. Nick, and Brian tried to stop him, and he killed them. That's my guess.
As Andrea and Herschel discussed, she doesn't want to go back BUT if she doesn't then there will be NO chance of peace. She has to play along right now which is what she is doing. I think you guys missed the context of that whole conversation.
There was no chance of peace anyway. What exactly did Andrea do in 3x14 except, "Huh? You're going to war!? Don't do that! You're gonna do it anyway? Well I'm going to leave then." It doesn't matter what the context is when Andrea did absolutely nothing for either side.
@@llamaniaman4002 Facts bro, if anyone thinks the Governor would have ever accepted peace is stupid, we've seen with the military guys that he wipes out everyone and anyone that he feels he can't control and manipulate or could be a threat to his power. Even if they gave him Michonne, he'd only turn around and kill everyone at the prison afterwards, Michonne already said like the dude will definitely be back, he's keeping heads as trophies for god sake
People talking shit about AJ bringing up Shane in every episode but even Rick and Philip were talking about him in this one. Shane is still relevant and will continue to be
Shane is also kinda the second main character, for S1 & S2, and has a big impact on a lot of the current cast, I don't know why so many people get pissed about them still bringing him up
I get why people don’t like Andrea she wasn’t exactly a beloved character for me, but I also understand why she does what she does. I think she goes back with him not because she trusts him but because this way she can keep an eye on him and she so desperately wants to keep peace.
Yeah, personally I don't really like Andreia's character, but I can understand why she's acting this way and not leaving with Rick's team here. She cares about both the people in Woodbury and the prison, and is clinging to the hope of peace here to put an end to the deaths on both sides. In a way she is the contact for both sides, if she goes with Rick here any chance of a deal that she believes would probably disappear.
I know alot of folks hate Andrea but I believe you have to read between the lines. I love the song at the end. happy to have another reaction guys so keep them coming
The Modern Normads, My Favorite characters this season are Andrea, Carol, Merle, Hershel, Beth, Milton, Martinez and Shumpert, Andrea is trying to keep the peace between The Prison and Woodbury, Andrea is just trying to make sure that nobody else dies
