those aren't counting misses, those are extra inputs the player had during the run,
the run btmc saw was the whole map, without any misses, or any overloads, a true adofai pass
interesting, does extra inputs reset the combo? I kept noticing their combo reset but I’m not sure what that even means for adofai

For those who don't know, the keys to the right of the handcam are actually his foot keys.
Yes, he has a second keyboard under his desk that he taps with his feet.
He is using all 10 of his fingers (16 keys in total) along with 2 feet (8 keys) just to hit some of this section (24 keys in total)
Using your feet to hit patterns that are otherwise almost impossible to hit with just your fingers is surprisingly common amongst top players.
How come there are 10 fingers and he is using 16 keys, you may ask? He is hitting 3 keys at once with EACH of his thumb and pinky finger.
what the fuck. this is what happens i guess when you let a single action be mapped to as many keys as you want...
slightly fix, the bottom row he uses 2 each for thumbs (in the middle) and 2 for each palms (the outer ones)
@@taggerung_ In adofai every key can be used to hit notes without having to keybind each one, there are some exceptions like ESC and some other utility keys, but for everything else you can hit 50 keys with your forearm and they all would register, there's a mod called adofai tweaks (made by one of the game's developers) that allows you to map specific keys to register so you won't accidentally fat finger something you don't wanna.

@@taggerung_ adofai is a very simple game in terms of input. You press any key to hit the tile when the ball lands on it. That's it. You can use any key, so some players figured out you could effectively make doubles by making the angle veeery tight. Fast forward a few years and you get this chart

Explanation: I’ve made the edit because we are fcuked. 7bg decided to limit the game to 10 keys by adding a new type of judgement that tries to kill you when you use more than 10 keys at once, but players are just like “nah fck it” and stsrted using like idk 27-32 keys💀

he's not using a mod to not die when he misses.
In ADOFAI you fail a level when you press too late (which he hasn't done a single time in this run) OR if you input early too many times in a short amount of time. You can think of it as a health bar in osu that goes down everytime you press too early and regenerates when you press on time but immediately goes to 0 whenever you don't press on time (too late).
In conclusion: Yes. He had misses in this run as most ADOFAI passes do, but did not die so it's an actual pass.

Too Early, Early, PerfectEarly, Perfect, PerfectLate, Late
the game doesn't have a Too Late, because that equals to a Miss, and since if you dont hit the tile, it kills you inmediately, so the miss also equals to a death
you can hit both Too Early, Early and Late, but at the risk of Overloading yourself, consider the Overload as your HP going 0, the thing is, you dont know how many "HP" you have, so you need to play it safe
those heavy streams can kill you if you exceed yourself with the amount of inputs you do

There’s a difference between misses and too early judgments, too early Lowers acc a bit and misses=death and are shown as purple while too early’s are dark red green is perfect yellow is early or late perfect and a pinkish red is lates or early’s also idk why too late judgment exists because if you see that your dead
