No he isnt lagging look the the handcam, the video isnt lagging yet the game is doing just that. Its just an SV map in mania. Sv in mania is scroll velocity or how fast notes move which makes maps like this possible.

For non standard players:
this is an "SV" chart (slider velocity/speed velocity)
SV charts are usually very gimmicky to throw your reading off, so you usually have to memorize it
polyriddim is like one of the most extreme examples of it,
some more cool examples of SV maps: Lost found melody [Found] (CrewK is #1 on it with an SS), Shakunetsu Pt.2 Long Train Running [yoooo!] (CrewK also has #1 with SS)

For those who are impressed with the gameplay heres something to make you even more impressed: Polyriddim by Phonon is a song that is made in 7/4 time at 122.5 bpm. It gained popularity because it strays from the norm in the dubstep scene with the standard being 4/4 at 140-150 bpm.

i just now realized how many youtube tabs he has open what the fuck
i think one thing that a lot of players both standard and mania fail to appreciate is how at 2:44 those really fast rhythms are normally on a single column, meaning you have to manually tap these really fast rhythm bursts without being able to switch fingers, there are doubles for the beat, but besides that most of those really fast rhythms are just jackhammers and not streams/trills that you can use multiple fingers for
SV players really remember the whole pattern like its geometry dash.
