Thanks for this video. I do have a couple of questions. In terms of a startup, I have read that I need the water to be at least 80 degrees before I should start adding chemicals. I live in the cold so our water is 50 degrees coming out of the tap. Also, why do the air blowers need to be off before starting this process? Just curious.

The heat helps the chemicals dissolve. If the air blowers are on, it can raise your pH (aeration causes your pH to go up)
