My laundry room has a sink between also & I don’t care for it either, I put all the wet clothes in a laundry basket & carry them over the dryer & that solves the frustration for me! :)

That's such a great tip that I forgot to mention, thank you! I do the same if I have a laundry basket free (which is rare, haha).
