First sub 1:40 I've seen, great lap. The crazy thing is that it doesn't even look as quick as it really is, who doesn't play the game can't really tell how brilliant run that was. Good job!
OK, my comment is below. 1st day of practice going round the track in 2nd gear following your lines. Then increased speed gradually going round. Just 1hour after going through the track with your vid and have gone from 1:46 to 1:43. Amazing. Anyone reading this sub this guy and give a like. No I’m not related!
Sub 1:40 is incredible and I am thankful for the great commentary during the lap. But I am relly frustrated with this game, I run the same line, even use the same breaking points and everything ... but still the fastest I ever managed is a 1:44,5 ... I really hoped to find out where my mistakes were ... but no luck.
@@HansBrodiAutomotive I also find if I merge braking and accelerator it cuts 100’s of my time. So you start accelerating just before you have completely released the brake. And the other way round.
@@SideMaxMotorworks unfortunately not, but fairly consistent 1:43 to 1:44 times. Managed to cut 4 seconds off of Spa, down to 2:20. Time is a bit short now my boy is off school. Will still continue to watch the vid though. Many thanks
Great video! Quick question: I find this car very very understeery (I'm used to the McLaren 720s) when using the default aggressive setup, in this track and some others like Monza, for example. Any suggestions/hints to improve this for this car? Thanks!
I somehow just managed a 1.39.744, v12 vantage gt3, aggressive setup with custom ride height 58 rear 56 front, TC turned to notch 5, on controller of course
the way how you go over curbs is impossible with agressive setup. 1:39.8 even in AMS2 which allows ridiculous cuts and curb riding is close to impossible. In ACC... I feel this lap was invalidated.
Track limits vary between leagues, classes, tracks etc. Monza for instance uses different limits for F1 than Blancpain. Some allow using entire curb, some only let you have two tires outside the white line, no matter the curb, etc. Point is, he kept two wheels on over each chicane and used the entire exit curb. His lap student have been invalidated.

So smooth
Thanks! "Weltklasse" Runde (World class Lap). Greatings from Germany
Thank you Holger!
Thanks for the detailed instructions!
Thanks for your detailed and very clear tutorial of Imola. I have subbed and liked. I will watch this several times.
that was awesome, I really enjoy your lap walkthroughs! Could you do Paul Ricard next?
Thanks! Paul Ricard is on the list!

That's a great improvement in lap time, really glad to see it's helped you out so much. Have you managed to get much faster since your comment?

@@99chrisbling Ah, glad you've seen improvement at Spa. Keep up the excellent work :)
Nice lap, Great vid 👌🏾

1.39 , Tnx for the slap in the face..👀
I was happy with a high 1:42...
Never look at alien pace just... ignore it. No good reference for us mortals ;)
@@EddoWagt about the same for me

Nice guide!
Top lap
Brilliant...could I trouble you for the setup?
That intro music was sooo good. Does anyone know what song is it from ?
Our bad, we forgot to put the video link in our desc. Here's the song: th-cam.com/video/Hfoi76YbnzA/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MusicforVideoLibrary
Was this done with a setup you made? Or just aggressive?
Default aggressive with a few minor tweaks
@@SideMaxMotorworks what tweaks? 🤔🤔
@@180Jackpot cold temperature tweak 🤣
@@SideMaxMotorworks tweaks look similar to mine. Well done
No pedal inputs on walkthrough, was that a mistake?
congratlations, your car setup please
how come on all these track guides split times are never mentioned...

What setup did tou use for?
Whaaaaaaaat? Setup ?
It's named after his kid. Dino

I drive at Imola with same brakepoints, same racing line, same Gear, same car, aggressive setup... But my hotlap record Is 1.44.5.... thanks anyway
I'm barely breaking 1.43 in the Porsche. I can't seem to find anymore speed.
the way you manage the chicane at 2:18 should invalid your lap... you don't even have 1 wheel on the track. 4 wheels on kurb lol
