A new journey into the World of Johto in the Pokemon Storm Silver / Sacred Gold Nuzlocke! In this series we will travel to collect all 18 gym badges in a Nuzlocke style run, catching only the first Pokemon we obtain on each route! If a Pokemon faints, we will have to say goodbye. Drayano hacks are known to be incredibly challenging and I'm ready for the task!

aDrive, you can't see in the cave because of the special graphics setting that you have on the game. If you turn those off then Flash will work! Like so he can see this!!

Some Pokemon get hidden abilities, or even completely different abilities and moves in this game. Just to make it more interesting. The ability he got wasn't rare, lol

@@shinysnowdrop1319 True. Good ability. But I'm not sure if he'll use it on his team. It's a weird Pokemon to use in Nuzlockes. More...luck based than other Pokemon. With it's metronome, but also several other moves it gets. Crit chances, flinch chances, status chances
Togepi is weak tbh, I wouldn't use it until its a higher level/evolved, like maybe throw the exp share on it?
@@LuckyOwI777 Again have to disagree with you, serene grace is much better for togekiss. Super bulky pokemon, gets soft boiled, tri attack and encore all before level 22, has a huge movepool, incredible special attacker and not slow either. It's an absolute beast to use in nuzlockes. the only problem is getting the shiny stone and getting a few heartscales and having to sacrifice a starter in violet city for it, also it's kinda boring because you can basically wall/sweep almost anything with it and those flinch and status chances are just a bonus. So yh not sure what ur on about

Yes that’s what I like about a drive he understands the power of status moves when it comes to nuzlockes many people just don’t use them when they’re really helping during nuzlockes

Marvin sounds like the idea of Nuzlocking in a reality where the Pokemon don't die(you know, where the headcanon that they die if they lose isn't a reality in the realm of that world). I saw a comic like that once, where the Pokemon didn't die so the trainer just abandoned them instead. I mean, in the literal sense, that is what happens, but the idea is that in the canon of the Nuzlocke, they died. Marvin just makes me think of that comic.

he actually could have gotten a water stone from the sprout elder to evolve it into cloyster but I guess it's better to get umbreon because it's much harder.
Not a true Nuzlocke. At 19:44 there's a jumpcut because he lost the initial gym battle. He had to restart the fight and didn't want to mention it. Watch him just before then and you can tell there is a jump cut because his head shifts positions. Also, when he opens up his inventory to heal the umbreon shortly after you can see the shellders HP is totally full when it was damaged before. He didn't beat it in one run though and must've saved/restarted the fight.
You should play Renegade Platinum if they reveal a Diamond and Pearl Remake! It’s a good hack

Actually I googled it and the fairy added version of storm silver has shiny boost which explains why
I found two shiny wurmple in an hour on the original storm silver. Only caught one, unlucky crit on the first one.

This hack is actually really reaaaaalllly tough. Regular soul silver is probably easy mode while this one is maddening mode
@@glizycor4748 lol I wouldn't call soul silver easy mode. You have to do a lot of grinding on low level wild Pokemon
Moon Silver is even harder. I tried playing it yesterday and holy cow is it infuriating lol.

Early game dragon rage is the reason that I always pick up a Gabite in Platinum as early as possible.
Storm Silver and Sacred Gold v1.1 added Fairy type. Tho, I haven’t found any Fairy moves yet.
yo dan quick tip idk if you record a bunch of episodes in a row, but you should skip your route 33 encounter trust me. After you're done with Ilex forest cynthia shows up again. You'll know what to do then ; )
The event you are talking about is a Static encounter, and is counted separate from the actual Route encounter. Plus, the aforementioned event technically takes place in Azalea Town; this is noted by the location change when you travel towards it.
The thing with dark cave being pitch black is a glitch you commonly see with emulators. It's possible to fix but I'm not sure how. There's another graphical glitch I'm sure will be seen later that can be fixed by entering either the Pokemon, bag, or save menu or soft-resetting.
However the main thing to watch out for is a softlock which involves entering a battle and the pokeballs just spin. The HG and SS games have some anti-piracy measures in it which is why this happens.
I know not everyone likes it. But, I am really enjoying these edit cuts you've been doing recently in playthroughs . IMO its good to cut the "filler" and less important stuff. And just have the big battles and close calls etc.

Get rid of Shellder for Bellsprout.
You could do with offensive grass attacks, don't particularly need two water types or 2 types good against flying. Also, a fighting resist looks helpful.

But he'll be able to get several waters stones laster. Why would he waste getting one now instead of getting a special stone to evolve Umbreon. Makes much more sense, especially when you have to have high friendship and evolve Eevee at night

I honestly haven't played a Johto game in *YEARS* so I bought Soul Silver before the quarantine started. *THANKFULLY* got a legit copy for $100 (normally I wouldn't pay over $45 for a used game but there aren't enough copies).

Took a lv.14 glaceon in to this battle Falkner had no chance he never got to make a move. Falkner thinks electric is his true enemy... Well Falkner what about the beast in the mist that is glaceon
Bring back Casino for Irwin! He’ll be helpful against this next gym since icicle spear is good for Scyther. Also, U-turn is physical so you’ll yank those stab hits.

when i was younger my old gbc silver version broke so it wouldnt keep my save file when you cant save you get really good at progressing in a short time togepi lvl5 in the elite four survived 6turns in a row togepi is a legend in my eyes

Thanks to you, i also started playing storm silver, and i didn't even know about it until now... So far i've really enjoyed it, i am currently preparing to face whitney...
So far my team includes glaceon (my favorite eeveelution by a mile) and my 2 favorite starters, chimchar and bulbasaur.... I would like to add a flying, dark and ground type, but i can't really decide - any recommendations?
Hey dude, there are documents about storm silver that should have come with your game(easily found on google as well). In those documents all areas are listed with encounters so you can find there wich you might want to use.
If you still need those, I recommend luxray for the dark type, because it’s also part electric. Two types with one pokemon.

I started a run of this to, Got a Shiny Chikorita after 30 resets... and then the first Wild encounter was a shiny ratatta, i somehow think this Game has hig shiny odds.

It's not randomized, no. This is a different game than SoulSilver. There are more Pokemon, and they tend to get rare abilities, and sometimes even abilities that they normally wouldn't get. Some move pools are also different. Etc, etc. Just because it is a rom hack, doesn't mean it has to be randomized. And even if it was, it would be in the title of his series

aDrive, no offense but completing this game on set battle style is almost impossible cuz the AI will set up on u almost automatically...I feel like its plenty of a challenge without set battle style, but just my opinion! Loving the series
