    I've been watching just about all your videos. You helped walk me through how to clean the blower through the vacuum port how to change all my cat oils ect. My father is handing me the keys to the company January and I have been cleaning carpets for 18 years. I love all your videos and I wanna thank you for all the knowledgeable videos. I just order my first pale of your secret sauce and can't wait to use it. God bless and keep on doing great.

    What do you like most about the upholstered panels? Does it reduce machine noise when you are at a customer's house? Thanks again

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  ปีที่แล้ว

      It makes the van warmer inside, anything that flies around or could hit the inside of the van by accident won't leave a dent in the van panels that you see outside. Definitely quiter and just makes the van last longer I feel 😊

    So you can stream line the two tanks into one so you have more room in back awesome

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually kind of yes. They make a 110 fresh water tank and 110 waste water tank that are put next to each other that look like the 210 waste tank. They call it their newer Mid mount tank

    How often do you need too work on the engine of the cleaning machine ?

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The van motor runs the Butler cleaning machine...but we change oil in the van around 1000 to 1500 miles. With the new "Oil Life" dash notification, we try to change the van oil when that sensor says 50 percent oil life remaining. I just make an effort for good maintenance. Around 100,000 miles we will change spark plugs and wires... And every couple of years or so we will change fuel filters, maybe change transmission oils, maintenance such as that to help again have good working and healthy vans

      I find those on Amazon.
      Use some goop to also help hold with screws in place I recommend. Prevents squeaks and also screws falling out
      Also we install three screws vs two

    what is your reason Mark for using Butler extraction products, Thanks brother

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We don't use the Butler Cleaning agents, but do use their Cleaning Truckmount units (and love them). We have our own unique blend of Chemistry (Saiger's Sauce Products) we have worked on for years, and just a few years ago, went public with them. You can find more about our products at my webstore www.saigers.com (look in the products for sale) or JonDon www.jondon.com Thank you for checking us out and thank you for your question. Please let me know if we can help you in any way. AND...there are free samples of some of our products available at my webstore if you wish to try. Thanks again!

      @@MarkSaiger I was wondering why did you choose Butler extraction truck mount over the many other brands on the market

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@clobbyhops oh... Sorry I misread this earlier. We have been using Butlers a long time. They have been very durable and we have put on thousands of hours and thousands of miles on our Butler units. They are all high grade stainless steel so the tanks last forever really. Butler also makes sure the cooling system for the van gets a little help so they clean in super hot or super cold temps. Butler also has a beefier front end spring put on their one ton vans. Their drive shafts never need greasing or maintenance because they mount them straight vs with a shaft and grease zerk. They use dual belts to run the Butler System from the motor so never have belt alignment issues or over heating belts. Also if a belt blows on the Butler you can remove that belt(s) and still drive the van because the serpentine belt is still in place typically to protect the van. Their heat and suction are wonderful and many people are amazed it our Butlers performance when we take them to cleaning conventions and cleaning experiences for others to try. We just have great luck with the many Butlers we had. We currently have 3 Butlers in our local fleet.

    what size are the tires and rims on your van?

    • @MarkSaiger

      We went up one size from the 16 inch rims to 17 inch rims. I'm away from my vans for a few months, but will get you the tire size also that we run with these rigs

    Is this the extended version or standard

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  ปีที่แล้ว

      She is extended. We do like our extended vans but if you can only get a regular length van Butlers mid mount tank system is really nice. Great space savings. It is a 110 fresh and 110 waste tank set side by side that then looks like a 210 tank. We have a mid mount set up in the Butler Aron runs. The one we call the Backpack

    What are some common issues that cause downtime in the field with Butlers?

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seriously, we see people who don't look over the equipment and do proper maintenance causing most issues. For us we have had Chemical injection pumps needing a new diaphragm around 1000 hours, belts need changing in my opinion once a year and fluids in the blower and cat pump every 500 hours. At some point you will need to replace the lower crankshaft pulley Butler makes and installs to run the unit. The van itself should have the cooling fluid changed and flushed out around 50,000 miles and about 1000 hours on the Butler, but that is just on some units. Cat pumps, we order a rebuilt cat pump from Butler around 3500 hours to avoid down time. The Butler is durable if you maintain them... Follow their reccomended weekly and monthly and it will last a long time and treat you well
