Good video, thanks for sharing challenges facing MSPs . Could you please share an update, on MSP can overcame these business challenges eg updating your business plan , introducing new offerings like cybersecurity, targeted marketing strategies and msp business analysis
Well thought out. I’ve wondered how the MSP market has not stagnated with the number of providers all competing for the few businesses willing to outsource vs hire. I recently spoke with a provider who went in-depth about their business and how I’d be a great fit for a new “franchise”. I just didn’t see any competitive advantage over the local shops. The margins were small and sales cycle seemed long. It just wasn’t for me. However, like you pointed out a solution provider helping businesses through specific technical projects appears to be the better way to leverage my technical skillset. Good video.
Mr. Davis what a great, true to grit video, a smack of reality to some that needed it, thank you I have subscribed and would like to hear more on the topic of TSP sounds very interesting and new coming Thank you
Not an easy busy. Too many "tech" oriented people and not enough business minded people start MSPs. But it's very much needed, can provide value to clients and needs BETTER competition.
Or you provide a new value add that the big guys aren't adding. There is a shift happening under the surface, and we should all be ready for it, but big boys aren't.

Great video James. Definitely a worthwhile discussion for all of us within the MSP space, and in particular, those starting out.
This just in: Business is hard.

What are you referring to in terms of the “shift”? Security and AI are big pieces of the puzzle I think.
