Squid game can be played as a team game. They showed us that in the very first scene in episode 1. So they could have ended up with multiple people playing at the end. The brother has not been missing since 2015. Their mom asking the cop to look and finding out his brother hasn't paid this months rent is all new. What they most likely meant by fair is that each of the participants are or should be on equal playing field for every game that they're forced to play which is why they killed off the doctor since he had unfair advantage knowing the games beforehand.
When the players were picking teams for the marble round, you can count 39 players. One didnt get any partner, meaning 38 players and 19 teams. This means that 19 players should have returned from this game, but only 16 did. Meaning they killed off three more for some reason. @@angelboy147 Yes, that has to be it. I noticed it because I saw that Deok-Su was alone after that round, meaning all of his teammates died. That didnt make sense to me as some of them paired up. But yeah, guess they somehow didnt manage to get a winner
I can’t believe he brought up VIP I fucking loved that show for obvious reasons as a young boy. I swear this year you guys brought up “warriors of virtue “ and “VIP” I really am jaw dropped by that
To be fair, technically the guy with the knowledge about glass had an unfair advantage. So by turning off the lights, they actually made it fair because they put everyone back on equal footing. Granted, he still had a way to tell, but technically Gi-hun wasn't supposed to have that marble either, which they couldn't have predicted. Not that it helped in the end because they didn't have a second one, so it still ended up fair in the end.
19:54 Look Han had roughly the same chance and he made it. Also in all honesty, it's actually absurd his speed tactic didnt work considering he put less weight on the glass than everyone else and the amount of time it took for them to fall through.
In the Korean variety show "Running Man," they recreated this game and Song Ji Hyo, known to be very lucky, made it 7 squares. That was a .7% chance success rate and she would make it that far.
notice they always switch up the game between big scale spectacle and small scale personal game. and each game offer different dynamic: first you winning do not affect others, then as you progress u have to kill as a group to win(tug of war), then u personally have to kill someone u like, etc. and the most tense game turned out to be the most relaxing and quietest game where two people just sit exchanging marbles.
The turning off the lights was fair because the glass worker had prior knowledge of how glass works that gave him an advantage that those in front of him did not have. If he had been Player 1 on the glass, then everyone behind him would have been able to use his knowledge to get across making it an even playing field. But, again, because he was towards the back, he had unfair advantage. So, the VIPs were correct in turning off the lights in order to make the field equal again.

Hey! I remember that Pamela Anderson show - VIP. .... Well, I remember it existed. I didnt really watch it except for an episode or two but I remember that she played a woman who accidentally saved a rich man's life and gets hired to lead a group of professional bodyguards.
This game was super interesting because it was mostly luck and chance until the end. Everyone reacted differently. Some people were bold, some froze, some just wanted to eliminate players, and some were cold and calculating. Looking at you Sanwoo and glass maker. The VIPs were hilariously cringe in this. And unfortunately pretty accurate. I saw Sanwoo as more of an antihero. He’s a businessman and acts like one.
Hay adam Are you aware that you are a *paragon of allowing people to see a males as emotional beings... Capable and willing to show human emotion and not being trapped in the stranglehold of "men dont cry". Thank you for your bravery and the good example you are setting.
Should obviously have checked to see if there was more than one marble available, and then used the only one left to test against the tempered glass he was standing on before testing it against one of the final two in front of him!!
First time I watched this, I gotta agree with the momentum idea. If I was the first to go, that would be my best bet. Just build up a running start, since you would have a moment of resistance before the glass breaks. Probably wouldn't make it all the way across, but still would make it farther than the second step.

They give the gifts and realize they each sold what the other part needed but ended up being happy realizing they cared that much for each other. And angelica got grounded.
30:50 Jay saying “pero like” is everything 😂😂😂
Hey! I remember that Pamela Anderson show - VIP. .... Well, I remember it existed. I didnt really watch it except for an episode or two but I remember that she played a woman who accidentally saved a rich man's life and gets hired to lead a group of professional bodyguards.
Adam I can't believe you remember V.I.P.
"Sweet Tooth is a VIP in this show" had me ROLLING
Its my head cannon that she completed the 180 rotation as they fell and hit the world's sickest Izuna Drop.
I remember VIP with Pam Anderson....also Stacked with her & Christopher Lloyd
Come on, Subscribe. Let's go, Brenda!
Detective hwang jun-ho is when Snake (Metal Gear) and The Hitman had a baby!
Hay adam
Are you aware that you are a *paragon of allowing people to see a males as emotional beings... Capable and willing to show human emotion and not being trapped in the stranglehold of "men dont cry".
Thank you for your bravery and the good example you are setting.
Not sure pioneer is the right word, but it's good that he allows his emotions to show.
@@Drako7077 maybe "paragon" rather than "pioneer"
Ehhh... Yah... Good note... I agree

I watched Palm Anderson’s VIP, like late on saturday nights. I gotcha Adam
Totally remember the show vip, what a strange time : P
lol that's the early 80s movie Desperate Lives where Helen Hunt jumps out the window. I thought she was on pcp or angel dust, not pot.
The glass workman had an advantage as expert in this area... that is not fair to the other players... I think... but what I really know? Nothing
212 finally got revenge on 101
Should obviously have checked to see if there was more than one marble available, and then used the only one left to test against the tempered glass he was standing on before testing it against one of the final two in front of him!!
The music in this is brilliant.
Thanks for the reaction!!Can't wait for the next one...
First time I watched this, I gotta agree with the momentum idea. If I was the first to go, that would be my best bet. Just build up a running start, since you would have a moment of resistance before the glass breaks. Probably wouldn't make it all the way across, but still would make it farther than the second step.
I subscribed after watching the ep6 reaction XD and am waiting on ep7 reaction. Thx guys i really enjoyed it!
Adam: "Murder him after you squeeze all the information out of him!"
Me: "Funny you should say 'squeeze'..."
