Everytime I get off a plane I head to Pizza Man to enjoy Buffalo wings and a big 32oz beer while waiting on a couple pizzas. 4 pizzas beer & wings usually $150!then it's off to Peter's Creek.I like BearTooth for close second. that was a fun video
Wow pizzas are so much where you are!! For a dominos/ Pizza Hut here in the UK you can always get deals. So I usually don’t pay more than £12 for a large pizza.
Moose’s tooth was wonderful. So glad you told us about it on the ship. Carol got a small Amazing Apricot, Caitlyn got The Popeye, and I got the Elf on the Shelf. They were all delicious. But as a Texan, I must say they had the thinnest slices of jalapeño I have ever seen. LOL Jalapeños must be expensive in Alaska.
What fun. I just looked up the philly cheese steak from Dominos which I haven't had in YEARS. It was $19.99 for pickup here in Georgia. We usually just do DiGiornos or Little Caesars. Which is around $8 per pizza. Thanks for sharing the fun.

The prices are about the same here in BC Canada. You can of course pay for super expensive pizza, my favorite perrogi and sour cream pizza, yum. Hawaiian is a very popular pizza in Canada. You all looked like you had fun♥🇨🇦

Papa Murphy's is a really good pizza and last time I bought one, which was a few years ago, I paid around $16 for a large one here in Oklahoma. As for the chain companies cost they were between $4-$6 more per pizza. The independent companies cost between $6-$10 more per pizza. These are compared to prices in central Oklahoma both chain and independent stores except for the "high end" restaurants which have the comparable prices for whole pizzas and are dine in.
Moose's Tooth is maybe the best pizza I've ever had. We had it during vacation one summer and have since flown up from Wyoming 3 times to get pizza and come home.
Lauren and those awesome boys & guests, Alaska pizza prices are higher than what is charged here in Missouri. We do get an Italian sausage & pepperoni pizza when we order pizza which is almost always a “pick up” dinner for our household of 2 adults. The "Chicken, Bacon, Ranch" from Pizza Man is my all time favorite. I order it about once a month. Moose's Tooth is a wonderful place but is in Anchorage and it is always super busy.
It isn’t cheaper here down under here in the states! I got a medium veggie and a side salad and it was $21.00 with the tip! Domino’s charges $3.00 for delivery! I picked up my own pizza as it is less than a mile away.
It’s so interesting seeing the price differences and how some things cost the same and others are drastically different. That Philly Steak & Cheese pizza here is $15 for the large.

Fun idea. I love pizza. Papa Johns is my favorite of the chain restaurants. Those prices are around $5 to $7 more per pizza than here in Indiana. I’d like to see donuts next.
That was fun and I am glad you got to do it with family!! If you do this again or just looking for something different, see if any of those places have a pizza that use an alfredo sauce. Sometimes they call it "white sauce". WAY back when, I worked at a Pizza Hut for 8 years and managed for 6. We had one and it was SOOO good! The go to is spinach, mushrooms and diced tomatoes on it! They just used alfredo in place of the pizza sauce. Still has mozzarella too. Well, I love it so much I now make my own at home. You can do that too! A Taco pizza is good too! Use refried beans instead of pizza sauce and drizzle taco sauce over the refried beans also. Use cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella. Use your ground moose seasoned anyway you want and the rest of the toppings are up to you also! I usually add diced tomatoes, a little bit of dices Jalapenos (we are spice wimps) and banana peppers. Serve with more taco sauce on the side (or on top) and sour cream. You can do just about anything!! I have friends that like to add lettuce and the tomatoes cold after it has baked. The adventure is all yours!

Our family favourites are BBQ chicken and Hawaiian. The Mooses Tooth honestly looked the best, though!! Goodness, l know why you cook 99% of your meals at home, ld pass on the pizza at that price there is no justification for such prices. Love seeing what everyone liked. There’s several Little Caesar’s in Anchorage. My son works at Moose’s Tooth and occasionally we will split a large with 2 different flavors. Otherwise we get the $9.95 pizzas from Costco. But I like pizza at Milano’s too.

Even in Florida where ingredients are easy to get pizza prices are all over the board/ We are retired seniors- Yet I prefer our homemade crust done just the way we like it/ the secret to great tasting pizza perfection is hot hot hot oven. Never heard of Apricot pizza before! But we get pineapple frequently.
What fun !! We love Costco pizza !! We have a place called Mello Mushroom, really good!! Papa Gino’s have a really great white pizza !! In Ohio our favorite is a potato and spinach with white sauce from Wedgewood pizza !! Have had some great deep dish pizza at Lou Manoldis in Chicago!! I am surprised that the price there and here in Everett, WA is very close. Me I would have chosen #6! When I fished out of Unalaska for crab, the pizza there is wow a lot more!

A large Philly cheesesteak pizza at our local place is $14.99! A typical large cheese pizza is $9.99. Fun video and always love seeing what things are like there!
Just adding that Moose’s Tooth owners ALSO own the Bear Tooth Pizza, same pizza there too with a little better parking options. I put that info on my recent video about Best Places to Eat in Alaska. Like you however, our family also cooks at home a lot, cause eating out in AK is expensive!!
With how expensive delivery pizza is there I would highly recommend you get a pizza oven, even a cheap electric one (like Ariete 917 or similar, around 100 bucks) and make pizza at home. It's really easy, good fun and you get to choose exactly what goes onto your pizzas.
This looked SO fun and they all sounded really good. I think if you had just had cheese and pepperoni you would have gotten bored real quick. I do love pepperoni pizza but I also like to try different things sometimes too. Last time we ordered pizza we had a spicy beef pizza and it was so nice, thankfully not really that spicy but so good. I love all your videos but would definitely be more interested in seeing more like this too.
Oh my .. what a great way to have family fun and test out different varieties of places and pizza choices ! Loved the family comments about their favorite ! In East Tn. we still have Little Caesars 5.00 which I am not fond of , and Pizza Inn, Dominos !!! But we have several local owned pizza places that are amazing .. all between 15.00 to 22.00 for large specialty pizzas , you really get your money’s worth when you pay a higher price .. much better than the chain names ! We love Dominos. Not because it's some culinary masterpiece, but we each get a medium from their $5.99 when you buy 2 or more coupon. Extra toppings and specialty pizzas are more. We get the lava cakes too. There are leftovers for the next day so it's a win-win.

This was a great vlog. Ever think of doing chicken wings if they were cheaper? Here in Florida, we have tried a couple of places that have to say we’re okay. We always get pizza from Costco when we go and freeze one. We get Dominoes the most. One of the things I can say is that the pizza was better in NY. The prices are comparable here with pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Also, can you compare besides wings all you can eat buffets? Food truck food? Just some ideas. Take care till next time. Great video Lauren. We only get plain, sausage, pepperoni or bacon pizzas. We dont get any fruit pizzas even though they look good. Im a kinda plain food person. Never onions on anything. Plain meat and potatoes kind of person. I love your videos. Keep them coming. As for prices, that is about average for our area in Pennsylvania too. We use coupons too LOL.

The specialty pizza from Anchorage looked interesting but my favorite is from Domino's the Philly cheese steak but no green peppers and add banana peppers . Here in southern West Virginia a xi large Philly is $18.99 plus tax . I live too far for them to deliver so I have to drive about 13 minutes to pick it up . Try doing Italian or Chinese take out . Much love from West Virginia 💙💛 .
That was a fun video!! Since you don't eat out often, do you know that most pizza places have specials online (and you save money by picking one of those, typically), for next time... "Keep the change, you filthy animal". I can't see pizzas without thinking of that movie line from a Holiday classic movie. It was popular when my nephews were young and they'd scream that at the pizza delivery guy. I'm sure the delivery guys heard it way too many times back then. Your boys are all adorable!! I so picky and there aren’t a lot of good pizza places near me any more, i stay away from chain type of shops because the quality is typically poor. I so love a pizza from whole foods though, a large just plain cheese is $15 and I usually pepperoni which is $17 but they also make a great chicken and broccoli pizza its made with Alfredo sauce and not red sauce, its delish.

Shipping anything up to AK is very pricey, thus the cost of things. Lived there for thirty years and still call it one of my homes.

We love Dominos. Not because it's some culinary masterpiece, but we each get a medium from their $5.99 when you buy 2 or more coupon. Extra toppings and specialty pizzas are more. We get the lava cakes too. There are leftovers for the next day so it's a win-win.

This was a great vlog. Ever think of doing chicken wings if they were cheaper? Here in Florida, we have tried a couple of places that have to say we’re okay. We always get pizza from Costco when we go and freeze one. We get Dominoes the most. One of the things I can say is that the pizza was better in NY. The prices are comparable here with pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Also, can you compare besides wings all you can eat buffets? Food truck food? Just some ideas. Take care till next time. Great video Lauren. We only get plain, sausage, pepperoni or bacon pizzas. We dont get any fruit pizzas even though they look good. Im a kinda plain food person. Never onions on anything. Plain meat and potatoes kind of person. I love your videos. Keep them coming. As for prices, that is about average for our area in Pennsylvania too. We use coupons too LOL.

The specialty pizza from Anchorage looked interesting but my favorite is from Domino's the Philly cheese steak but no green peppers and add banana peppers . Here in southern West Virginia a xi large Philly is $18.99 plus tax . I live too far for them to deliver so I have to drive about 13 minutes to pick it up . Try doing Italian or Chinese take out . Much love from West Virginia 💙💛 .

I can't see pizzas without thinking of that movie line from a Holiday classic movie. It was popular when my nephews were young and they'd scream that at the pizza delivery guy. I'm sure the delivery guys heard it way too many times back then.

I so picky and there aren’t a lot of good pizza places near me any more, i stay away from chain type of shops because the quality is typically poor. I so love a pizza from whole foods though, a large just plain cheese is $15 and I usually pepperoni which is $17 but they also make a great chicken and broccoli pizza its made with Alfredo sauce and not red sauce, its delish.
