We have compiled this Vlog from Multiple trips into Bali over 6 years. Last trip was 2022 post Covid, and country was struggling to get back on its feet. Bali is a country that oozes charm and genuine hospitality. Balinese culture is one of the most beautiful on the planet and so are the people. There is so much more to still see in Bali. It takes many trips if you are not living or staying a long time. My wife Irina and I love Nusa Dua, we have stayed in Kuta once, but we prefer Nusa Dua and Ubud to stay. Legong, Kecak, Barong and the culture of The Hindu Religion is beautiful. These dances were basically brought from India and choregraphed as a stage play in the 1930's to what you see adapted today. Men and women of all ages perform these dances now but historically, Legong was only pubescent females who had immense standing in community, almost royal. There is a variety of dance in this video although it has been condensed down a lot from shows. If you are in Ubud they put on excellent shows in The Palace (Puri Saren Agung). There are some favorite places we like to stay in Bali but is only our preference as we have stayed there before. There is so many great temples in Bali, we have not been to all yet. Both Bali Zoo and Bali safari park are great. Go to monkey Forest if in Ubud area. I hope this Vlog gives you some ideas on your travel to Bali.
