The Greek Island, Santorini. Oia and Thera both beautiful, amazing cities. Third stop on our Mediterranean cruise aboard the MSC Divina. Unusual grapes and wineries, but great Greek wine tasting and authentic Greek snacks at Anhydrous winery. Climbing the road up the cliffs from wharf is both breathtaking and scary ‪@Aussies_on_dream_travel-dn5ht‬ . We came back down by cable car, (awesome ride) there was only a wait of about 45 minutes coming back a little bit earlier, you can wait much longer up to 90 minutes we were told if you leave it later. The other method of descending is by donkey and 587 steps. We chose the cable car as we had prepaid tickets as part of our tour, people do fall on the donkeys, and it is on concrete steps in the open hot sun in summer. People are trying to boycott the use of donkeys with mixed feelings on the subject in Santorini. We had picture perfect weather for our amazing day in Santorini. Oia and Thera. Next stop Mykonos.
