But, with one gear taking an hour to print, this project took us a very long time. I take it the guy in Japan didn't also print every single gear, right? Just messed with the electronics? We still find ways to do it our own way, uniquely, and stand out, but most of what we do takes a long time. So, being first really isn't always so realistic for us, might have to settle for creative/unique. Did the guy also do the same with Gokaiger...? Seemed like back then, not many fans were posting things about binary code...?
@@MMPRtoys I wasn't able to find any evidence this same guy had done the Gokaiger codes back in the day, but I can tell you that he got all the sounds by taking it apart and hitting all the required switches with his fingers. In fact, you don't even need to 3D print Gears or take it apart to hack it. It can't even tell if a Gear is in there or if you're turning the crank. It only cares about whether or not the "hatch closed" button is held down and that the two red buttons on the inside that read the Gears are hit in the correct sequence.

This project has also been part of our Patreon, so, patrons get to enjoy some of this differently from TH-cam viewers. Smart people in this house, trust me :) We're also artists and like doing projects such as this. If someone wants to just leak codes the minute the thing comes out, fine, I guess. I don't see the fun in that. I think our way is much cooler. & it's not old news yet. Just a few eps have aired. I think we're fine.

We have zero idea what the Dekaranger Gear even looks like as of right now, for example! The only non-Legendary Team Gear you showed off that has a confirmed release is the "Congratulations" sound, which is to be used for a Lucky Draw SP Zenkaiser Gear.

You somehow before most of the toy line was released and was probably in early episodes of zenkaiger found out several gears that would appear like near the end or middle of zenkaiger

Someone commented on a sentai facebook group that the comedy of Zenkaiger reminded them a little of Akibaranger (example: the villains waited for them to transform). Which I gotta agree with! Some of the mystery gears sound like power ups for Zenkaiser or possible auxiliary mechs themed around other Sentai teams. Congratulations to me is gonna be the lottery/prize machine gear that will be limited to likely 1000 pieces. Much like the Metallic Gokai Silver key was during Gokaiger's release. Twokaiser by the looks of it will have their own henshin device with Purple coloured versions of the Sentai Gears. Be something else for you guys to figure out
I would assume some of them would give specific sounds in a specific device? Like a power up thing, where it can tell it's a gear but it's not been programmed with the specific noises the power up thing is supposed to make so it makes a generic sound. Like how the +1 juudenchi doesn't really interact with anything other than Minityra
Sadly I'll be shocked if they even make an actual toy gear for Akibaranger much less use it in the show. These changers always have a ton of unused sounds.
No. 10 should be the Zenkaiger power up, theres a trick with Zyuran and Vroom toys that unlocks when you put a few pins in some of the holes (bc they're the only ones that have electronics) and they had "Chou Zyuran" and "Chou Vroom", so its prob for that.
So, near the end where you were talking about how each of the teams have a sound that relates to the season's motif, there is actually a theory that there will be a ranger for each sound. A youtuber by the name of "Toku Topics" did a video on it that discusses the theory.
Great to hear Akibaranger in there! I did a similar thing with Lego in the ToQ Changer and made not of all the working combinations. Maybe I should make a video on that.

It doesn't seem like it. But Toku Topics figured out that you can unlock that sound in the DonBlaster by manually spinning the Timeranger Gear backwards.

I think the "Epic gear" might just be a test gear to make sure all the team names work, if I remember, there was a code in the mobirates that had a similar effect. as cool as it would be for it to be in the show, how slowly it goes through them would waste half the episode

Yes, they figured out the binary code on each existing gear then made the others by converting the numbers of the gears that haven't been released yet into that physical binary code
