Sounds dope! I’m still learning and I have a question. What are the specs on the cam and how has reliability been affected since install? Did you need any other supporting mods for the cam?
I have the texas speed stage 3 ls3 cam all specs on their page and you should be installing it with a cam kit which would be double springs pushrods and new seals and I’ve haven’t had any issues with my car beside a broken axel which has nothing to do with the cam lol so if done right car should be perfectly fine bro!

So with 5th Gen Camaros I think it’s doffent for everyone’s cars. I ran into issues with wheel hop pretty soon even tho my car only had 50-60 k miles but I’ve had buddy’s still running all stock bushings and are doing fine. I put in bmr trailing arms with bushing and also did bmrs toe rods and bushing and also did the mar sway bar.
And for axels I have stock axels in the car but I did brake one but I think that was because my car is dropped and my axel angel was all wrong I will be putting stock springs back in the rear pretty soon. The stick axles should be good for 500-550 whp and I’m only making 445-450

Off of digs I had very little torque but once it got in the powerband it started to move but I fixed it by installing a 3800 stall now it’s a whole different experience the powers is everywhere
I was gonna say, stage 3 should be making more but if yiure auto it makes sense
This whole 'stage' thing is kind of nonsense. My GPI 'Stage 1' cam at .647/.638 is much higher lift than some other companies Stage 3 cams, just with less duration. It really only helps to distinguish between each specific manufacturer's line of cams. Once you are comparing company A to company B, stages make little sense. But I do understand their use. All that said, I haven't dyno'd yet but my tuner, who is also the cam vendor, says I should be right about 460rw with my mods (LS3 swapped L99 car w/ 6L80e, milled heads, bolt ons). Although I understand how far 'should' gets me lol.
@@InFiD3ViL1 GPI makes some nasty cams, but i definitely agree with you about the stage thing, i have a friend with a 5th gen with shorty headers, and intake and a stage 2 tsp cam making 477 to the wheels. Its really all about the specs of the cam, and where theyre meant to make power. Im going with the lethal racing nightfury and im pretty satisfied with the lift and duration, the lsa is also in a really good spot. Overall the cam is just a really solid cam, its not too aggressive so city driving wont suck as much as lets say a GPI stage 4, my main thing was i wanted a cam that can respond well to boost and sound decent N/A as well, im going all out with my top end tho, different intake manifold, nw 102 tb, flex fuel (even tho ill only gain like 20 to the wheels if im lucky lol) ported heads, fully upgraded valve train, etc. Im hoping to get some decently numbers out of it. Supporting mods are a big part of getting all the extra power you can out of your motor, the cam is just a piece of the whole picture

L99 but got converted to ls3 while they were doing the cam swap
I did a stage 3 cam with no stall it was okay for roll racing and driveability wasn’t the best so I put a 3800 stall in it now it feels amazing

I have everything done by Elvis custom tuning you could find him on Instagram and Facebook the cam with the conversion was 1,300 parts installed and tuned and my stall with bigger injectors and retune was 1,300 also
