Thank you Mr. Saravanan for this tutorial. It was very helpful to learn how to use the Arduino to connect to my computer serially. However, I wanted to add a couple of issues I ran into for others who may also encounter these problems. Now I'm not sure which of these issues actually fixed my problem, but I will list them here... 1. My S2C is a programmable zigbee radio, so I had to use the "Add radio specifying port settings" option in the top left . If you have a 'B' at the end of your xbee model number, then your xbee is programmable as well. 2. I had to reset the radio during configuration. If you are using Arduino as in this video, you can place a jumper from ground (pin 10) to reset (pin 5). If you have a breakout board and can place the Xbee on a breadboard, then a push button switch is easiest. You only need to set reset to low for a second. (Note that it took me about 3 tries with the right settings before it took). 3. My xbee radios had a default baud rate of 115200. I received them from Digikey. If you are doing the above 2 steps with no success, then try playing with the baud rate. From my readings, 9600 and 115200 are the most common. When using the "Add radio" option with a programmable radio, you will have to try each setting one at a time. Give it a few tries on each setting (see end of note 2). One last thing I'll add is that I also installed the usb driver from digi.com. I think this is supposed to be for the usb item they sell, but it can't hurt to install it anyway.

ardunio not connecting without xbee explorer. I disconnected it, introduced it, then connected it to arduno, but it still couldn't find xbee, what should I do? can you help me? We will also communicate with BME280, Adafruit GPS, MPU6050, RTC DS1302 via xbee s2c. We wrote the codes of the sensors, but we could not find and understand the codes we need to add in order to send them via Xbees. Your code is too short. will it work? Are the xbee codes different for each sensor?
I have a question, can you connect directly pin rx-> tx between xbee and arduino ? I have seen this worked corectly but how ?? xbee is operate by 3.3 v .

I dont undestand why you connect TX to TX and Rx to Rx? It should be reverse right?
For configuring xbee u need to connect TX to TX and RX to RX. But when you need to tranfer data it should be the other way.
