Loved this! You made such a great tutorial video that ended in me being the proud new owner of a lovely, slouchy, textured beanie at the end. Thank you ❤
The front /back post rib edge is very difficult to do, especially when I crocheted tight. At some point i wanted to give up. But I managed to get through 😊Don't know how many obstacles will be done the road. Wish me luck 😅
Thank you for this pattern…. And you teach soooo well. Very clear 🥰 My question is, I’m making this for my son who is a size large adult. Should I make beanie longer for more slouch? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks much.
This was so helpful! Slouchie beanies have been so challenging for me and this was easy to follow. Had to frog a few times but the end result is great.
Im brand new to crocheting! I love that your tutorial is showing me so many different stitches! I'm nervous I'm not doing something right. I'm halfway through this tutorial. I'm on the steps for alternating double stitch back post and double stitch. I noticed my nat is getting wider and wider with every section. Is that normal?
I just cannot do your front and back post single crochet at the beginning. I'm going to switch it for back chain double crochet. Neater and easier. My single post looked like an uneven mess and hard to do with my fuzzy alpaca yarn.
Hi , am trying beanie for Adult large tat is 23 inches head circumference. But now in 15 inches i have got 58 rows so nw i need to work for 23 inches rit? so tat how many chains i should have after joining the head circumference...like u have 58 for me how many should i get ??? Similarly i should maintain even num chains or odd num chains or any num divisible?
I'm so sorry to hear this, as mentioned above to Brenda, please feel free to message me directly a picture of your efforts and I will do my best to help you: instagram.com/diyfromhomecrochet/

I will be honest and tell you that I'm not 100% positive, but I do recall using this "pound of love" yarn and was able to make 3 of these hats from 1 skein (this is a lot of yarn however) typically, if you're using something like bernat premium yarn for example, you'll get 1 hat out of that skein
Neither can I. So I ended up crocheting in the front loops for the brim of the hat. It looked basically the same. When I got to the double crochet back post stitch of the hat, it was a lot easier to see what I was doing than the single crochet.
Your "back post" stitches arent post stitches. Youre supposed to go around the post for a back/front post stitch you're not suppised to to into the stitch itself. So some people are confused because you called something that isn't a post stitch a post stitch. May need to fix this.
This hat is easily worn with jeans but, it is also a very elegant hat in black... Love it! Thank you
I absolutely love hoe fast you explain these. The beginner tutorials take wayyy too long
Thanks so much!!! Very easy to follow and fun to do! Love it!!!
I am a begginer and I loved the pattern. I use to knit, but crochet is so faster and the stitches, even the simple ones, are so pretty! I made it!

I just made this hat and it is so cute! Thank you. I love the texture.
Your yarn looks so smooth🌷☁️

How come you only did one row of half double crochets?
what size yarn did you use
GREAT tutorial made it in one day😊
Thank you for this tutorial! It was really very easy to follow. :D
What size yarn are you using? Did it recommend 5mm or did you choose to bigger/smaller?
Thank you ♡
Could you please share what size crochet needle you've used?
You said continue for 57 rows. Is that a total of 57 or a total of 60 because we did the first three?
I just cannot do your front and back post single crochet at the beginning. I'm going to switch it for back chain double crochet. Neater and easier. My single post looked like an uneven mess and hard to do with my fuzzy alpaca yarn.
Thank you for the pattern ❤️
Super cute! Thanks for the pattern and you have such a pleasant voice! 🤩New subbie here.
Thanks so much! 😊

May i ask how much yarn you used?

What hook size
5mm
Buenas noches una pregunta ❓ no lo puede traducir al español
I can't for the life of me get past the beginning back post stitch. I never end up with 6 and my work is NOT neat! I've tried sssoooo many times😢
5 back post plus one single crochet in the last stitch.
Neither can I. So I ended up crocheting in the front loops for the brim of the hat. It looked basically the same. When I got to the double crochet back post stitch of the hat, it was a lot easier to see what I was doing than the single crochet.
Me agota verlo con ese dedo pasando por encima de la aguja.

Which row are you talking about? The second row after the brim is a back post stitch, she goes around the post if you watch.
