Your descriptions is one of the best I have listened to as a lot if people waffle along and that bores me and I leave. So I'd recommend you to the world. Thank you .
last year (2019) I saw this pattern and really wanted to try it. the problem was, I didn't know how to crochet. so, I taught myself through TH-cam and today, I have a successful crochet business all because of this video. now, I am very happy to say that in October 2020, I am able to make this hat. thank you fiber flux, you inspired me.
@@donnamayo8504 that's so great to hear! im actually 12 so im a bit young, but my older cousin loves selling things so she sells them for me. she uses the selling website called "depop" and it Is super easy to use! once someone orders something, you just ship it out. hope this helps! if you need anything else, just ask :)

Thanks so much Jennifer, I made this for my daughter last night in 2 hours. The whole family loves it. Making my second tonight. Love your videos and appreciate your time. Ciao from South Africa 🇿🇦
this pattern is fantastic, and i made my boyfriend the best looking beanie i have ever made. i bought the yarn i used from a local shop that went out of business and i didn't keep the label, so i am SO jealous of his wonderful beanie.
As someone who has only been crocheting for a few months, I really wanted to thank you. This was so easy to follow along with from beginning to end. You were clear, the camera angle was amazing and you didn't go to fast or to slow. This is def one of the BEST tutorials I've seen. Thanks =)
I've recently started crocheting again, I've done a few hats from TH-cam but this is the nicest. I used Aran wool, 4.5 hook, casted on 70 loops and it's a good fit. As for the crocheting into the back of the stitch, I found this a bit difficult for me, so I turned the work to the back side and just went into the front of the stitch instead then turned back onto the right side. Worked out really well. A bonus being able to use both sides of the hat, they're both very attractive. Thank you for taking the time to upload.
You are such a good teacher, and for the love of crocheting, I can follow everything you are doing, without missing anything. Thank you very much for the video, I try this 👏👏👏
I've seen a lot of hat tutorials on youtube, but this is by far the best one I've found. Super easy, can be adjusted to different yarn and hook sizes, and best of all it looks amazing when it's finished. I have made two so far and I can't wait to experiment. Thank you!
A huge thank you. Your explanations are so well set out that it is easy to follow your pattern. I enjoyed this project it took about 4 hours to complete and I have not crochet in many many years
I’m making this again this winter. Just finished one more. Now I have 5 different colored hats. I love this pattern, it’s Very Easy and Really BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU FOR TEACHING US.
Love this hat. Made two in short time. I did chain only 45, being 50 was too big. Great beginner project. Nice for Christmas gifting. Thank you again for the tutorial.
This is a Classic: Absolutely timelessly stylish!!! Have made 3 with 6 more request to make. Has been the Easiest tutorial (and PDF pattern) for me to follow EVER, as well as fastest hat to make. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Very nice video...I used 2 colours and made slouch hat for my daughter..though my wool is thin I made 100 stiches for 21 inch cicumference..best fitted to my daughter..thank you
Saved this pattern ages ago for something to do. Decided to use a odd ball of chunky wool I had decided to make it. Came out better than I thought really pleased with it. Since I am not that goid at crocheting, I fine fine with watching tutorials but not reading patterns
Thank you so much. I crocheted one in burgundy for my daughter who has extra long hair. Your instructions were super easy to follow. My daughter loved it.❤
Noob here, finishing up this hat! I made it first time, used one skein and it turned out too short. Bought more yarn and redoing the top part. Good instructions, even for someone who had never heard of front post/back post, and never touched yarn or hook for decades. Thank you!
I completed this hat and a neck cowel as a present. Im fairly new (about 1 year). I had to use a 9mm didn't have an 8mm at the start. I also used some yarn with different colors. It came out beautifully! Thank you!!!
HEY!!!!! thank you for the free content!! you rock!! Im taking this pattern and the ear flap pattern to marry them into my dream hat for my wife and i. i popped my back out yesterday so today is rest and crochet day!
This is such an amazing tutorial for anyone! I made my very second beanie using this tutorial and has been my favorite go-to pattern ever since then. I'm a very hands-on learner and sometimes I just CANNOT focus, but I successfully made this beanie because your directions are so clear and easy to follow for any beginner. Thanks so much for posting this!
I've been crocheting for years and this is by far the best tutorial I've ever used. I'd recommend this for any beginners you are amazing at explaining and showing 🥰🥰
Started making this hat today. Thank you so much for your talent. My first slouchy. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Happy Holidays.
I think your hat is very pretty and I like your way of teaching us how to crochet it. You make it simple and clear that we can understand it easy. Thank you for sahring your beautiful hat pattern. God bless you.
Good afternoon from Sunny Bournemouth UK. Am on my 3rd hat in three days. I am a beginner, You were so easy to follow. Next I need to do matching (colour) fingerless gloves. Thank you for inspiring me. Donna.
I am trying this next. I only learned to crochet in 2020 and have made a bunch of scarves. I am ready to try something new. I enjoy your videos. They are very helpful .
Just finished mine. Was very easy. Directions were clear and super easy to follow. Love my heart, hope the girl I made it for Christmas likes it as well. Thank you!!
I started to crochet about year ago and just finished this hat. Special thanks for clear instructions. This wasn’t even beginners tutorial but since you explained so well, I think that even those who have just started to exploring wide crochet world could do this hat. Finished hat is so beautiful that I’m considering to make one for myself too (first one is going as gift) even I’m not hat person. 😊
Omg excelente teacher i have here, I did my first hat and made it for a coworker and she like it like it, I’m going to do moreee with different colors thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Very nice! My 9 yr old granddaughter is learning to crochet and I've been looking for cool ideas for her. I think she can do this with maybe a little bit of help but probably she'll just need a little supervision so I can check her work row by row so she won't have a lot of frogging. You're instructions are so clear and concise. Thanks for sharing!!
I love this hat and I love your teaching style, this is the first time I made a connect chain and at the end of my round no twisted chain, im a subscriber thanks for your channel its a great teaching tool
I just finished making this hat. LOVE it! I used #3 weight Premier Bamboo Joy yarn. I held two strands together. I also made my hat 10 inches long, as I wanted the slouch to be very obvious. I am still deciding if I want to put a pompom on it or leave it as is.
LOVE YOUR VIDEO,...AND I LOVE THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN EVERY THING,.I WILL BE WATCHING THIS VIDEO AGAIN BECAUSE I WANT TO DO THIS LOVELY HAT THANK YOU FOR SHARING..
This was one of the first patterns I ever worked on. You were a big help in launching my crochet journey. I watched this video in January 2020 when I first learned. Thanks❤️❤️❤️
Made this in about 3hrs with a lot of stopping and watching Mountain Men. I used Red Heart hygge (bulky) in the color sterling using the 8mm hook. I could of done less then 50 chains to start but the yarn has a bit of weight to it and it stays on my head just fine. I followed the written instructions (very easy to read) and only used the video to get me started on decreasing. Quick, easy beanie. Another project down :-) thanks for sharing your video!
Great tutorial. However, my hat came out too small. I would recommend to start with the chain number that you measure around your your head. And, do use size 8.
I had tried a few different tutorial videos to learn how to make this hat, and they were all too hard to follow. When i found this tutorial, i thought to myself..."hmmm, i wonder if i will continue paste the 2nd row"...Praise the L-rd for your video amein! I found the instructions soooo easy to follow and so encouraging to continue. I used a thinner wool and smaller needle which meant having to add chains at the beginning and add an extra row at the end, but, it turned out beautiful 🥰. Thank you so much, i feel so proud of myself for making this hehe 😉 G-d bless and keep up the great work.
This is lovely. I'm thinking of making this for my granddaughter and myself, but using elastic instead of closing completely, to wear as ponytail hats. Thanks for sharing!🎄
When you say wrap yarn around hook. I was thinking something new was being done. Then i thought oh yarn over. Great pattern and tutorial my hat workednip really fast and came out great. Some hats where you crochet from the bottom up can be not for me. But this was great!!

I just got finished making this, I should have gone up a couple more rows to give it more of a slouch, but all in all, it turned out very pretty. Not as beautiful as yours because I used regular thread with the L hook, but I'm not goin to complain, it slouches a little bit for a little girl. Thank you for this pattern! It's gorgeous.
Thank you, I have been searching for a slouch hat for several years. As a beginner, I made slouch hats for my kids, but forgot how I did them and tried unsuccessfully many times. Your slouch hat is very nice!!

I LOVE this hat! Whips up so quick and is so nice! Made one in black/gray/white scarfie yarn I had around and it is such a beautiful hat! Thanks Jennifer! ❤️
