As a previous owner of this platform, it's very wobbly. I owned mine for about 7 months and never went camping with it as I kept seeing stability issues while having it in the back of my 4Runner. They really need some diagonal support pieces to stiffen it, in my opinion. Also, the wood slats are really heavy. I'm really surprised they didn't use aluminum like they have with their lightweight tables. With the amount of slats, I think aluminum would work due to redundancy. I just returned mine within one year and got a full refund.
