Elbows aur knee mein hone waale kaalepan ke karan friction ( ragad lagne se) ho sakta hain. Agar baithtey samaya mein apke elbows mein ragad lagti hain toh yeh kaala padh sakta hain. Eczema ke karan bhi is jagah pe kaalepan ho sakti hain. Ek condition hoti hain "acanthosis nigricans" isme skin thick ho jati hain aur neck, armpit, groin, elbows aur knees ke skin kaali pad jaati hain. Toh agar apke knees and elbows dark hain aur isme home remedies se improvement nahi aa rahi hain toh aap apne area ke koi qualified dermatologist (MD, DNB, DVD) ki sallah le sakte ho.

another natural method is to rub baking soda on your dark spots with a cut piece of lemon. leave it on for a while, rinse off and apply a moisturizing creme or oil (not lotion because it doesn't have enough moisture). do that every day and you WILL see a difference. even if you don't want to do the whole baking soda/lemon thing, just scrub your knees/elbows/knuckles really good in the shower and keep them moisturized :) hope that helped
