Arry and Bert are still in the show even though they literally tried to kill stepney and would have gotten away with it if it weren't for that meddling controller and his dumb helpers.
Plot twisting, the "Murdering Diesel" wasn't actually hunting for Oliver, he was just doing his work and just happened to pass by Oliver's hiding spot.
I know the books refer to these diesels as "Murdering Diesels" but could Marauding also fit in describing them? They were hunting down Oliver to take him back for scrap and I could totally see a group of Steam Engine hunters called "The Marauders."
I always theorised that it was Arry and Bert that took care of the soon to be scrapped steam engines and Oliver and Stepney ran away from them as they say "Got you *this time* Stepney." I think they probably worked alongside The Murdering Diesel. Also it's likely Britt and David saw the RWS illustrations of Escape and tried to capture the shot of The Murdering Duesel by having Mavis' model facing backwards to the camera.
One of the best Thomas content creators i’ve seen in all honesty. As someone in their very early 20’s and being in the Thomas fandom, i always feel at home. @@Readdisyougey Do not cite the old magicks at me, i've read the RWS countless times! The CF engines have faces on both ends so still have a face on the front. This guy has his face on JUST the back so it's weird.

@Jason The Tank Engine Because the engines always face towards their coach, they need a face on their rear so they can still see around. At least that's how I see it. Notice how the coaches have their face also looking outwards also.

correct me if im wrong but i think the murdering diesel is a BR class 08 and is colored black. Once again i might be wrong since Awdry didnt show enough attention to this diesel but still nice model mate! keep up the great work!
Since Diesel was also used in the television episode, and a Class 08 was seen in the RWS illustration (also with a face on the back of its cab), will you do that as well?
To my knowledge, Mavis is actually based on the very similar but slightly older Class 04 diesel, I could be mistaken though. This would make this Murdering Diesel inherently different from her, which would be interesting from a lore perspective. Far more interesting than another Class 08.
More to Henry as a whole! :) The Sodor Fallout stuff will be add on pieces that come on and off, I plan to reveal Henry and then the modded Henry once the parts are complete.
maybe the murderous diesel was the engine that shunted oliver to the scrap yard after oliver ran out of coal. atleast thats how wildnorwester's version of escape was.
These diesel models look like from the Thomas and Friends scene "Enterprising Engines" where it almost replaced steam locomotives into diesel locomotives
Nice model, my only critique would be that there's only one face instead of two. I think it would look amazing with two instead of one, just my opinion though. Best wishes.👍
Because it's a weird British design I think it's actually the section of the wheelbase that's connected to the driveshaft, I don't know why they added a 4th none wheeled axle to move the coupling rods but, they did
