Good stuff man. I've been learning for several months now. I've just been away at the drumset and having started doing any rudiments or anything like that. I'm assuming knowing different rudiments and sticking would really help with this? I know several different fills and what not but now I have the problem of trying to remember all of them lol. I'd imagine with experience you just make stuff up on the fly
Yeh mate, rudiments are really important for getting used to various sticking patterns. Same with fills, find patterns you like and practice them to cement them in your mind, then try variations of where you put your hands. Once you've got a few fill patterns in the 'bank' the next step is rather than repeat the one pattern A four times; AAAA, you do the pattern 2 times and then a different pattern B two times; AABB and start mixing up the sticking; AAAB, ABAB, ABAA, etc.

Nice crash cymbal.what is it please?
Yeh its not bad for a cheaper range cymbal! It's a Bosphorus 19" thin crash
The variations around the toms really show how these fills can become interesting! 🤘
Absolutely! I'm a big fan of using the hi hat in fills as if it's another tom too 👍
