I’m 40 and haven’t even touched drum sticks in 15 years. Getting back into finally, got a reasonable kit. I can’t imagine how different my life would have been if I had access to selfless teachers like this anytime I want. This is amazing man and this is really kind of you to make instructional content for anyone who is interested. Thank you!!
Thanks for the kind words and support, Ben! I appreciate that. I’ve always loved teaching and if even just a few people are inspired by my content - my mission is successful! Looking forward to see you on my channel, buddy 👊🔥
@@ThatSwedishDrummer yeah, appears to be that the algorithm thought that i was only interested in your shorts-channel :D.. I just found your main channel yesterday. Your short videos were one of the few videos I clicked on, because watching shorts is to much of a waste of time for me :D
Fantastic lesson - just got back into having lessons after not playing since being at university 6/7 years ago - really helped me to build some creative drum fills into songs. Thanks!
Damn.. I've seen and played with sooooo many drum kits in my life but yours gotta be the most gorgeous looking one ever... Amazing set up + that sound tho... Ooohh...
First, as a Drummer and musician and Recording Engineer, your Actual sound is Killer! And awesome job breaking down the sticking.. Now I'm a Lefty that plays a traditional right handed kit so I would reverse the start point: i.e. l,r, etc.. without being too lengthy I often thought about doing rudiments with the feet to strengthen either double kik playing ( which I don't generally ) but again great video! 👍❤️🥁
@@ThatSwedishDrummer Always! I think all Art ( music, painting etc.. ) is human expression of what I say is the real reason for the word Recreation..Re- Creation , we are emulating the Creator. And passion plus skill should be recognized. Anyway.. Drums! 🎵❤️
Saving this video in my favorites and once I'm behind my kit I'm gonna practice this until it's second nature to me around the kit🤘🏻 Thanks for the killer leason, brotha!
Thanks, buddy! I’ve got an old video about it here: th-cam.com/video/PT2mSitRZd4/w-d-xo.html But I think I’m gonna do a new tuning video later this year 🙌🔥

The six note patterns are the hardest for me especially whith the different dynamics ...its somtimes easier on some speeds but it really challenging sticking to the 4/4 measure especially on slow speeds when you try to fit six notes into the bar ...thank you for the challenges...

As has already been stated.. thank you! You've helped me tremendously also! I have a question whenever you have some time.. for the past couple years drumming has been more of a hobby (obsession, if you ask my wife) and have primarily played on e-kits. 2 years ago I grabbed the alesis nitro and almost immediately, after realizing the limitations, upgraded to the Strike kit. As a pro and teacher, what are your thoughts on e-drums? Thanks again!
Thanks a lot, Matthew! Personally, I’ve never really felt comfortable behind an e-kit. They’re fun to play, but you don’t really get the same striking power as from an acoustic kit, so I don’t really have a lot of experience with e-kits 🙌🔥
Thanks for watching, buddies! If you wanna support my channel, comment a video-request!
