The lyrics really take on new meaning for me, as we have had really hard things happen with one of our children that is still ongoing now, after many years. I cherish my spouse even more every day and do feel that I wouldn't have made it through without him at my side.

This song spoke to me back in 1992, 1993. My son Grant was born October 9th, 1992 just three months later my mom passed on Jan 27th 1993. At that time I was working 3rd shift. The radio station that we would listen to was Sunny 95, they would play new, old country songs. One day when I was taking a break, no one in the room, the song played and I just lost it all. I cried like a baby. Music has a way of helping people getting through the tough times. This song really hit home with me.
