I'll take the city 1.5 manual...over it...as the engine performance is very great in the city than that on the vento....but have to agree with the DSG gearbox has advantage.
Tsi is superior to VTEC both in manual and automatic , sadly in India, it is not available in manual, VTEC is no match to the TSI,. Having said that, the next gen turbo charged VTEC are as good as tsi, but honda has no plans to bring them to India
The Vento is like the Christmas Turkey roast recipe or a Glenfiddich single malt. It doesn't need any change. It sells because it remains the same. The Royal Enfield of the cars, as far as the business model is concerned. 😍

Its actually fortunate to have halogen fog lamps coz that's what they are meant to be. The LED white light spreads in fog conditions not serving the purpose of fog lamps. The halogen does the job well extending the visibility some what more.

Hello Faisal bhai . I heard that you said in manual mode it does not hold the revs to 7000 or above. I think the car is not meant for racing or rough useage. It does its job well thats what its meant for. Well you rev every car to its limit that nod needed in everyday life. Its not at all disappointing. Feature wise it lacks quite a bit but the DSG is uncomparable.

Ecosport is better for City driving as it's length is under 4 metre and Ford has better driving dynamics among compact SUVs which makes it easy to twirl around the city

VW group engines don't need break in apparently. i have this car and the VW people told me there is no need for a break in. i was surprised but even the owners manual doesn't have any break in instructions. i took the car delivery and the second day i was driving at 150 kmph plus speeds on some expressway. now its been 6 years and ~45000kms done and the car runs completely fine with zero random issues.. i have a 1.6 petrol manual

DGS is best for both traffic and also in highways. My Vento TDI DSG is super stable in highway speed and easy to drive in traffic due to DSG.
