This. People see the Tiger and thats it. Was my first in WoT PC some 14 years ago for that very reason. The tier10 sucked then as it was unplayable without spending gold but the line was ok.

@@dzulfujiwara6054 TDs laugh at E100 angled or not, have a higher alpha, and the armored ones will have heavies bouncing like a trampoline. Most people are too afraid to trade HP so that doesn't really matter.

It's probably cause the whole line is great for new players and it's quite easy to learn it's play style. But next update, it's stock gun will have 3k dpm which probably even more players will grind it. It's sad that it's top gun getting nerfed 😢
Vk 72 is flat better than e100 and 60tp. And it makes me crazy how underratted vk really is. If you do 1vs1 against vk 72, most of the time vk will win. Vk has better frontal arrmor, small turret cheeks (troll), better accuracy, dpm, dps (tungsten) and better reload time(14sec) With tungsten and adrenaline its 12sec with 690 alpha.
Its not about the E100 only. The whole line is good, and people may choose this line because of the popular historical tanks like the Tiger, not E100, but ending up with E100.
It’s one of my favourites also and I’m pretty angry about the new changes to the 15cm gun and it’s honestly why I like the tank so much it’s the large alpha numbers on the gun
Unfortunately the 150mm gun will be unplayable next update meaning that this tank will be completely obsolete because at that point a maus is just better

I started in WoT PC and there was just Germany, Russia and the US (unsure if blitz was the same). German heavies was just the natural choice and hey, Tiger tank! It was such a horrible tank back then though unless you spent gold. In Blitz, today, it's probably the worst german heavy, sadly but still a fun tank.
After transforming my account from a 45% to 55% career (by spamming 60% wr sessions for 8 yerd) I can say this tank has only gotten better throughout the years. WG rarely nerfs it to the ground and when it gets buffed it adresses the weaknesses pretty well. The turret used to be so bad that even the tier 9 premium ammo got through it at any angle, the gun used to require prammo to be effective and such. But WG knows the Tiger line is popular so at least in Blitz all the line is a solid frontline heavy line, they have buffed and tweaked them from the VK36 up to the E100.
Sadly its getting its alpha nerfed 😔😔😔 the only thing making the tank fun to drive (and getting other players mad because it sometimes role for 750+💪💪)

Most of people gets e100 because the tech tree line has some historical tanks like pzIII, pz IV, stug III, tiger 1, king tiger,

Pretty sure it was my first tier X. Either this or the IS-7. Both great starter lines.

I remember when i could drive a bc-25t and bounce an e100 thrice. Skill issue on their part.

Because it is very good. Very good hull armor (420MM). Turret is meh. Angled being 309-313mm. And tons of HP. I like it.

New players should know your not top tier often in E-100.. Some folks enjoy the smaller with the quicker reload..
