I joined the Catholic Church last year and became a confirmed member this last weekend on the Easter vigil. You helped me greatly Bishop. I see so much evil in the world. And the west is totally crumbling. We are in a scary place with a thick fog of evil covering the USA, Canada, UK and Europe. When I thought through it all, the church is what built the society I loved. And I need to do my part to pass on the once great civilization we had to our posterity. Thank you.

Interesting.!😊 my husband told exactly the same thing two days ago ..!
Then I told him if he becomes a pope he can’t do the evangelization like he is doing now the same way Bp. Fulton J sheen.. did ..🙏🏽
I told my husband he might refuse to become a pope .! rather he will love saving souls .😀
Then my husband said He will make a good pope . So I said no doubt about it but I like him to do the evangelization and save the maximum souls for HIS kingdom. 🙏🏽
I hope bp. Barron won’t be reading my comments …May God bless him and all of us 🙏🏽🙏🏽💕

I've also had the privilege of going to St Thomas More's cell and the crypt where he's buried, even though they're not part of the regular tour, all thanks to a friend and Thomas More scholar who I visited London with. A very special experience.

Thank you so much Bishop Barron for this video. I was able to share some of my time in London with you and the Word on Fire Institute members at these events- definitely the highlight of my visit; especially Mass at Westminster Cathedral and receiving your blessing after Mass! I remember your homily from that Sunday now every time I receive the Eucharist. So great to have this amazing video not only as a wonderful memory but as a reminder of the work we need to do going forward! I will share all of the videos from London with my friends and parishioners back home in Maryland!
God bless you for all you do to spread the Gospel.

This is so magnificent, so inspiring. The videos we see, the music videos (except those of Theo Laurence) fall flat. But this video is divine in its appeal to all the senses. It is so wonderfully "Catholic." I cannot wait to see ALL of the "Catholicism" series!

A lovely short film- thank you! My mum is staying with us just now & I’ve been putting your Sunday homily’s on for her so you have a new fan😃. I read A Man For All Seasons when at high school in the 90s and read the book/ watched the film with my girls a couple yrs ago. It’s a great novel. Interestingly my kids go to St John Fisher high school (SJF was martyred alongside STM).
Thanks for all you do Bishop Baron🙏

    Wonderful video.
    Thank you for sharing.
I'm reminded that (as an American citizen of the United States) to me, in a sense, Thomas Moore gave his life over to the importance of the inspired idea, the Life Dream (if you will), of the separation between church and state. Or, put another way, to clearly discern between the interests and dictates of the body and soul of a nation in an effort to (eventually, with ease and grace) gain harmony between the physical and spiritual concerns of a people who strive for unity.
Safe Peace be upon your journey home.
    Slán Abhaile.

"If we lived in a State where virtue was profitable, common sense would make us good, and greed would make us saintly. And we'd live like animals or angels in the happy land that needs no heroes. But since in fact we see that avarice, anger, envy, pride, sloth, lust and stupidity commonly profit far beyond humility, chastity, fortitude, justice and thought, and have to choose, to be human at all... why then perhaps we must stand fast a little -even at the risk of being heroes."
    -A Man For All Seasons

Thank you Bp. Barron for you and your staff's labor in putting together these videos and all the excellent content. I find the perspective of this final statement fascinating: "I die his majesty's good servant, but God's first" - Sir Thomas More. Thomas was persuaded even unto death of his autonomy, his free agency, within the dream of I Am. I think that this notion of duality is fading in these times. We must do what is right in every moment, but we certainly do not have autonomy or free will, only the appearance thereof. Only the I Am, who is not two, even not one, has autonomy, and we, like the wind, blow where He wishes us to blow. Try to keep that truth a secret please, because it is demoralizing to many, that at the most basic level I Am is calling all the shots.

It's an absolute privilege to believe in Jesus. How can someone that has been around for over 2000 years not exist? Why have so many been martyred for someone who doesn't exist? God DOES exist and I truly pray for those who believe otherwise. I always recall a quote I had read not too long ago that read something like this, that those who believe in God don't need an explanation, but those that don't believe in God, an explanation is never satisfactory.
