Rome was tolerant of other religions as long as it allowed for the Roman religion. For instance, Rome had accepted and even admired the Egyptian gods. They were considered old and powerful but it was a 2 way street. They both allow for other gods. Christians were persecuted because they said "your religion is useless, there is 1 god and no other gods". When you tell an entire population that the gods they have been worshipping for hundreds of years are fake you are asking for trouble.
They arrived before the time of Joshua also known as Jesus and not as slaves but invited by Rome for trade. The still existing Roman Jewish community is in fact the first and oldest in Europe. They have their own Rite of prayer and liturgy. They also fail to mention the factual presence of St. Augustin & his mother St. Monica.
The visuals are quite good. I was in Ostia many times, long before any of these lads were born. Walking the streets and fields alone without rude tourist was a mystical experience. Some of their info here is good though permeated with bad English and poor articulation. HOWEVER, their errors about religious history are sad and they are ignorant to the history of the Jewish people in Rome.
