it's really like you said, mamamoo is incomparable no other groups is doing it like them. My standards are much higher now that i started listening to them.. I hate how standard and acceptable it is in kpop to lip syncing.
Malek Cherif omg me too. I used to have Blackpink as my no 1 but I listened to Mamamoo then found myself listening to them more then more then more and now my standards are so high for kpop groups. Imo, there’s nobody else better than Mamamoo. And they write their own songs too!

@@maxxannishi and to add as well, they're hands on everything from their solo songs to MV, their ideas are always added to their works. Mamamoo surely will get your standard so high once you delve into them and yes, no turning back
Its not a same thing having back vocal track and purely just lip syncing.. most of the ad-lips are coming from that back track and that has nothing to do with lip syncing. Later on when mammamoo starts doing middle level and higher choreography, even they use the backtrack to fill in any spots that the dancing Might do. Standard... acceptable..... WHAT?? 🤣

Her voice IS appreciated. The only thing that sets Mamamoo back is the hate they get, apart from that they’re fine cause they can do EVERYTHING

Im confused. Her solo song produced by Jungkey is Goodbye and Anymore is a featuring of Wheein for letting her sing the whole song by the producer.
Yuzuki Chouko oh i think anymore was jungkey’s and shes just feat in it, while goodbye was hers since it was for her album

It’s almost half a year since I started stanning mamamamoo I learned one important thing about them they will never disappoint live no matter what also every stage is different no stage looks like the same every stage is different and enjoyable True Performers
Since you really like hearing them harmonize with 4-stack harmonies, you should definitely check out their cover of Stooshe's "Love Me". Definitely a lot more technical harmonies. There was a snippet of it on one of their compilation videos, but the whole thing is very worth checking out.

If you don't get goosebumps when Yong, Hwasa and Wheein start playing around with their voices for throughout the songs, you are not normal! But let me just tell you, I feel the most blessed for actually having being able to watch them live... and as crazy as it sounds... it doesn't even compare!! It was the experience of a lifetime!
Some behind the scenes info on the Queendom Live Performance of "I Miss You". They updated & made some changes so that it would be for the Fans because that Performance was part of the "Fan-dora's Box" Challenge [The 6 Groups/Artists will each perform a song suggested by the audience]. When they were performing "IMY" NONE of them was able to look out into the crowd because if they did, they wouldn't have been able to continue performing as they would've broke down in tears at seeing the MooMoo's & the Audience's reactions to the song [everyone was crying or on the verge of crying]. They, themselves, had stated that, so that's why when you see them perform it, they either have their eyes closed or are looking up at the ceiling or down at the stage. None of them would look out into the crowd.
Hello! I agree that not many kpop artists out there can sing live like mamamoo. The only other person I know who can do something like that is BoA, the Queen of Kpop. She is a legendary kpop solo artist who is known for her insane live performances. She's also Solar's favorite artist. I recommend watching Moon and Sunrise live or only one live! Solar and moonbyul named their segment "Yong kong byul kong moon and sunrise" because of BoA too :P
I prefer the live versions for Mamamoo, always sounds like it has more energy.
Not totally in the same league, but Dreamcatcher are really good live, some of the stuff they've done on radio sounds fantastic. Live performance suffers a little the intense dancing but still a very stable band.

Every live performance from Mamamoo gives you goose bumps. They are so awesome as a group on and off stage. Genuinely fun and down to earth especially for their fans.
I know you've already reacted to their Immortal Songs Medley, but you definitely need to check out their full versions of "Passion Flower", "Wonderful Confession", and "Delilah". But really, most of MAMAMOO's performance on Immortal Songs were superb!

Technical wise I don't think any female group as good as Mamamoo in Kpop. But individually in a group there are several member who can match Hwasa, Solar, and Whee In.
Yeah I agree technical wise MMM is the best so far. The way that they're harmonizing to each other are just perfect. It's like you put together 4 talented soloist who have such a beautiful voice in one group.
