I honestly still wish that there was a way, but all I can do is dream.

All 3 bosses love to spam their energy attacks and move around the screen. Try to keep them in close range and stun locked by doing a chain of light melle attacks. Its slow but you will chip away at their HP over time. Focus on close range melee combat rather than energy attacks.
Is there anything to gain from not using all the DP you have available? Like, why pick 1 character over more? Also, is there a way to use the Mania characters?

solo using majin buu or gotenk works well for me since their up/down specials hinders their attacks for a while and you can hit them to get mana . I got perfect a few times.
Ofcourse beating them with the strongest characters with the highest HP in game is easy. But I love to challenge myself so I also did this th-cam.com/video/CMfy6mLRqN4/w-d-xo.html Weakest character with the lowest attack damage, lowest HP, and no buffs or transformations to increase damage output. If you stay till the end of the Gero video, you ll see that it only takes 2 direct hits to get killed.
Omg I always struggled against these bosses; Cell, Broly and Goku in my childhood! They are super perfect Cell, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly and Super Saiyan 3 Goku??!
Goku looks like SSJ2, his hairs spike like crazy at the start of the battle. But then they go back to normal, so maybe this is his SSJ Grade 4 (the one used in the Cell games)? Broly is legendary SSJ in both version, maybe the playable one is movie 8 version and the boss fight is his version from Second Coming (as he gets stronger than in the first movie) Obviusly this Cell is SP Cell
Beat all fights in Maximum Mode on Mania difficulty. Then the game tells you smth like "You can now select Majin Vegeta by holding R when selecting Vegeta (SSJ)."
There was a time, years ago, I did stuff like this too. Maaaaaan does this game make you feel like a legit shit Super Saiyan. I don't care for Fighterz more grounded, competitive combat, I'd love to get a game that looked like that one but played like this one.
Hold R while selecting Super Saiyan Vegeta. You'll get Majin Vegeta. You have to finish the game to get him this way. Another method is to have Super Saiyan Vegeta and Select Babidi as support. You'll get Majin. But for this you need to complete Vegetas story mode.
Took a lot of practice, and a lot of trying and failing 😊 but never gave up. My team to beat max Goku was semi-perfect Cell, GotenkSS and Shenron I lost HP on purpose to use Cell’s absorption and heal to died again then use Gotenks special and finally self destruct. Gotta say fun and underrated game for the DS back in the day
There are two ways to get Majin Vegeta. The easy way is to put Babidi and Super Saiyan Vegeta on the same team, and you'll automatically get Majin Vegeta. The second method requires you to beat Maximum mode. While selecting Super Saiyan Vegeta, hold down R and you'll play as Majin Vegeta instead (Babidi no longer required).

I believe you unlock all the characters from finishing Story Mode, finishing all the side routes on all the character stories.
