    You are by far the BEST Salesforce instructor I've seen...way better than focus on force lol!! You explained it better in a quick video than anyone else has in long learning modules! :)

    Thank you Shrey for this excellent explanation. I was struggling with other online videos where this topic got sort of dry. I like that you kept your mistakes in the video without editing them out. We've all made them before and I feel I have a better understanding on field dependency now.

    Thanks for the awesome video.... Is it possible to hide some of the fields of the layout based on check Box field value(Y/N) or is there any way where we can change the layout if particular value of the picklist or Checkbox value get selected.

    great educational video, could we maybe have a document with the situation when a field data type can be controlling and/or dependent?

    hi can you explain this
    if we add the details(Name, Add, phone,.......) of no. of employees in one object, & then we we want pick list of name of that all employee in other object. For please help me

    How come I don't get any options when I click on the dependency field. I only got an option on the controlling field.

    • @SalesforceHulk
      @SalesforceHulk  ปีที่แล้ว

      By default dependent field will not have the values, so first you need to select any values from the controlling field and then the values will be available in the dependency field.

    Hey bro, can you help me!! I was suspended from My job last month as a number of cases on SF showed ‘last modified by’ my user on 13/12/17. Management think I have modified these cases to look like I was boosting my figures. They were all old cases I closed off 6 months ago but somehow appear ‘last modified on 13/12/17. Is there a simple explanation for this? I didn’t touch those cases on the day they show last modified... could a trigger have caused them to automatically update as my user on this day? Any help would be appreciated because I don’t want to lose my job over this.

    • @SalesforceHulk
      @SalesforceHulk  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Joshua. Yes, there are chances that it got updated because of any trigger or any bulk job. Also, your administrator can log in as you too, so maybe...

    Great video - can you just elaborate text on board with examples? Instead of A, B, and C if you could name real fields in the object, for instance, country, city or town, etc. otherwise video is pretty clear and simplified for beginner-level students like me.Thank you

    Thanks for this video, its illustrative.Could you please tell us about Process builder and how process is used to replace workflow rules?

    • @sachinrnayak3420
      @sachinrnayak3420 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Since Process Builder also has the ability to configure multiple if-then conditions in one Process rather than separate Workflow rules, it helps new admins and admins who inherit orgs visualize the business processes with its sleek visual interface. Process Builder has versions, so you can retain deactivated Processes.

    Nice explanation, but I think you made a video length too long. IMO simply saying - We want to implement cascading picklist and then straight given example of Country and City would be much more cleaner approach. Keep up the good work.

  • @galal69
    @galal69 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    you spent to much time selecting countries. still a great video.
