- Israeli protesters gathered for the weekly anti-government demonstration in Tel Aviv as anger towards the government intensified over its handling of the Gaza war. Attempts by the police to disperse the protest resulted in skirmishes and violent arrests. This latest protest coincides with the Israeli military's announcement that eight soldiers were killed in Rafah.
