The warrior damage nerfs went live a while ago, however the tooltips are not updated. So far in 5.1 notes there is nothing relating to warrior changes.
Avatar - now breaks all roots and snares, but no longer makes you immune to movement impairing effects. Duration increased to 24 sec, up from 20. No longer generates extra rage.

The nerf isn't the problem, the way they nerfed us is the problem. If you rely on the pet, more than ever, you just can't let our cooldowns which are pet oriented be completely useless. Everytime we use cooldowns at this point, they are one button press away of negating our whole burst, most classes will have to pop a major defensive cooldown to survive multiple burst cooldowns, a short minor cooldown will be enough to keep a hunter off you now. Not to mention we don't have any other options.
At the start of Cata they were useless, pretty much. People even did videos joking on how bad they were. But Hunters, as far as my mates at 2,6k have said, and by my own experience at 2,3k, they're used to be one of the hardest, if not the hardest class to play decently.

This is pretty much how blizz works. There are certain classes which are accepted as the top dps classes. If another one proves to be better it will be nerfed to pieces.

Hunters aren't supposed to be a primary damage class anyway in arenas, they're meant to be more of a support damage class as it is. Trip BM hunters should NOT be working nearly as well as it is right now, so something had to be done, and if you can't admit that then there is a problem.
one defensive that would help for ~300k instant damage is a shield, (I'm rsham) and i can't pop the shield in a shockwave, which did 60k extra dmg. even if i had gotten the shield up it wouldn't have been enough for the ~5 sec followup silences and another stun.
im sorry but im gonna have to disagree on the OP thing, i use 5 offensive spells, 3 of which have a cast time, do you know what its like having to stop and cast when you have a warrior who ignores fear on you? hunters have cast time on cobra shot and steady shot but those arent even your main offensive abilities, and NOW you can cast moving without a damage penalty... lets say its even and leave it at that
fun? of course! Balanced? not really. I just dont feel they should nerf the damage so much, I think they should buff others. I dont like slow paced pvp where you die after massaging your opponent for 15 minutes
Stampede was bugged in arena, even Blizzard know that the scaled dmg of it was way way to high. It's not a nerf it's a balanced. In PvP they should be equal else it's not fair play.
far far far from useless, damage output and stampede burst is still amazing and you still have 2.5x more trinkets than anyone else, plus the nature of the pet doing damage even while you're CCd is actually a benefit as much as otherwise.
My friend just lvl up a mage to 90 and he says have 300k hp full greens and its a mage so he use cloth now you have an idea what tanks hp can have and healers hp
WoW never had and never will have a level playing field! One of my biggest annoyances when i was playing the game. After playing solely GW2 i started playing D3 again with 1.0.5 patch and been having a lot of fun, so Kripp get going m8 :)
I don't agree with been able to cc a pet with bestial wrath up. That's like the change they did to stop druids shapeshifting out of roots and novas. They reversed that eventually.
Just started playing hunter again... almost lvl 90. I wish I could have seen how op this spec was. Last time I played a hunter and their pets were immune to all cc during bestial wrath and I still pvp'd as survival and did 2300-2400 2v2 rating bc-wotlk with a resto druid. I was excited for BM to be a good spec for once... sigh.
Why do you think we see SO MANY more warriors in MoP compared to end cata? because it actually is fun. Balance is just a whole other question, don't mix those 2.
The bestial wrath thing was too much i agree, but as a healer, id like hunters having a bit more dots. Its not fun when someone (warr or hunter) kills you because they pushed ALL the buttons and got a few crits. I want to die while failing to avoid cc or interrupts or just outplayed, kkthxbai.
No need to get mad, wasn't the first time hunters have been meganerfed... If you're truly love playing your hunter you'll still find a way to own ass just as I have been doing since vanilla.
Not true at all for tbc. There were practically zero BM hunters in high level arenas during all of TBC. Hunters were all Marks for arenas. Hunters were actually one of the least represented classes in high rated arena teams for most of tbc.
Isn't liking the ability to be able to just kill people in 3 or 4 seconds indicative of not actually enjoying having to play with skill? Rather, a statement like that seems to indicate one who just wants to be on top and is willing to throw everyone else under the bus to do so...

What is that to complain about? Almost every other class can be CCd while using major cooldowns, why shouldn't we? It only raises the skill-cap of the class and will get rid of all the fotm re-rollers. Great change imo.
It shouldn't be too too bad for 3's. It's still shitty that you aren't going to be able to walk in and slay people in 10 seconds. It'll be more about setting up the kill with LoS and cc's. Lynx rush getting changed is stupid. They could just drop the damage from 200 percent to 125 or 100 percent.
PvP balance is mostly balanced around 3v3 arena. If a hunter can solo kill a healer in 3-5 sec, imagine what will it be with another dps... any class should have a chance to 1v1 a healer, but not a garanteed kill in 10 sec even.
It's really not that big of a deal when changes are made. All you have to is realize that the way you once played has to change. Now instead of instigating with bestial wrath you will now use it situationally. Partner stuns opponent then bw, or pet snared pop bw. You will easily be able to find ways to beat other players, you will simply have to play within the limits you are given.
Aspect of the Fox change - Good Lynx Rush change - Fine Bestial Wrath change - Very bad Glyph of Mend Pet might help a bit. I think they will alsow nerf Stampede and then hunter class are crap again :(
its fun to faceroll, because you know later in the expansion that healers become op again and require some serious coordination to kill anybody in 2's or 3's
I cant disagree with the always going over the top with nerfs. Gotta start somewhere tho i guess? Because they were pretty rediculous and warriors still are. i hope blizz get onto them soon as well, and before anyone says anything, i have a warrior myself, and KNOW they needa be nerfed pretty hard as well. If you pop bestial wrath and go for the healer and they cc it you can just masters call and you can do that 2 times with readiness.

How the hell are they nerfed Krip? Fox Aspect got removed, and Cobra and Steady Shot can be cast while moving. Hunters got a buff if anything.

weird, my hunter still has aspect of the fox and has to have it activated to use cobra shot on the move.
The new Rabid - Increases your pet's attack power by 25% for 20 sec, down from 70% for 20 sec. Also a well deserved nerf.

blind received a HUGEEEEEEEEEEE buff. if you cant kill someone with a blind every minute, your bad.
My 2.7k 2's/3's partner (last season) said marks was fine last week. Marks will be the spec to go over survival now and I'm sure hunters will be fine.

Blink strike still does very good damage, and you are still able to 1shot everything with stampede :)
Perhaos they should introduce a glyph/talent/innate whereby dispelling the hunter dispells the pet simultaneously.

the chimera shot has 9 sec cooldown.

Kripp explained the hunter nerf... People misunderstood (Surprise) ... People cried... Not realizing that every comment helps out in the end.
That's why you disarm, cc, pop defensives et cetera. An arms warrior does bad damage without cooldowns.

Oh that's right, CC shouldn't negate hunter burst, but it should negate every other class.

Blink Strike is a pretty great alternative on a macro, trust me it's pretty ridiculous. The Bestial Wrath nerf sucks though.

Hunters have always been a strong class to play. Ghostcrawler is the reason mages will dominate.

The main problem with hunters in BM was that they could kill in 3 seconds while they are CC'd
at current a geared person WITH buffs is ~340-350k health... in arena anyway
