To answer your 1st question. Yes, I was one of the people that actually enjoyed finding my own group for dungeons. It encouraged you being more social and polite towards your fellow group members. Where as in dungeon finder you could act however you wanted, considering you would probably never meet them again. This contradicted the fact that you are supposed to make connections while playing MMOs. Regarding the cataclysm nerf part, it was Blizzards fault for not sticking to their own guns.

It does matter. for the first 4 levels, you will not be replaceing 410 gemmed enchanted gear with Dungeon Blues Nor Leveling Greens. Having that type of gear will help you significantly if you are doing dungeons to skip the first 2 questing zones

It's pretty simple, people want other people to play the game they do because it's always more fun and feels more like the right choice of game if there is a big healthy community with lots of public faces to follow on forums/streams, rather than if the game is almost a ghost town with no publicity.

Yeah you're right. Competitive PvE just kind of happened very abruptly when people needed something to hype up. This happened very recently as well, in what is known as the "vanilla" version of WoW, when Nihilum was grabbing their world firsts in Naxxramas 60 ;)
panda would be probaly be exciting for a lil while, but i expect people to hop to gw2 after awhile, i mean wow has been out forever, so there cant be to much more to even do so yea. once u finish panda are u ganna still pay 15 a month?
wow wasn't harder in BC, it was just more of a grind. I remember playing lineage 2 during this time and everyone was always talking about how easy wow was, i got bored of it than quit, it was to easy. If you think vanilla or BC was harder, it's just because you were only 14 at the time.
More like 22. And it was harder since it was new and people had no idea how to grind, everyone was not max level within days, they ran around in greens and blues. Crossrealm ques did not exist. If you wanted to do a dungeon you had to run to the area and try to find people in the general chat or that were waiting outside the dungeon. There were not enough quests to reach certain levels, so you had to grind. You did not know what build to use. I ran a shadowpriest without that mana regen buff, so I had to eat mana food every 2 kills to get mana back. It was harder. Much harder.
Fergulix i played as a combat rogue and it was pretty fun during my time. all i remember from such a long time ago was begging shamans to join the guild because we need them for sunwell haha

This strange feeling in HC Raids, like idk, losing your breath and hoping the entire raid can do it right, is what brought me back to WoW. GW2, D3, PoE, whatever... they do well, but c'mon, WoW is da baws.
Hey Kripp, I think we'd all enjoy seeing a video of how you set up your hotkeys, addons, and what not. The way I tried setting up my hotkeys was terrible!! I had to go back to clicking and getting my ass wooped in pvp :(
I started playing in beta and have seen how WoW has developed until Cataclysm. Let's see how long it takes to clear mists of pandaria dungeons. I doubt it will take long. 40-man instances > 25 man instances.
hey Kripp as a hardcore player I think you should check out Darkfall Unholy Wars, its being released in November. It features full-loot PvP, FPS aiming, siege mechanics, no safe zones.. I think you will fit in perfectly.
Kripp man, you're going to replace ALL that raid gear with greens by the time you hit 90. Just like every other expansion. Gear resets...no reason to bust your ass to gear up Krippi. :)
The reason 40 man instances was hard is because people sucked hard back then. Everyone raided with green/blue gear, nobody knew anything about the game, and everyone leeched on eachother because a huge number of players would cover up your own mistakes.
The correct answer is just that you're wrong. They are two different people. Just check out Krippi's stream if you want proof. He looks completely different, has a different voice, lives in a different country, etc.
Me too and if everyone would be as crappy today as they were back in vanilla then instances like Fireland heroic probably would be cleared by top 10 guilds exclusively. Heck, even today people rely on the x5% nerfs to stand a chance.

You obviously don't know what type of player Kripp is. Like he has said in a lot of his vids he plays ONE game for a long time. He's not some stupid commentator that profits off every game that comes out.
Some classes don't have rotations, so they have to keep an eye on their resources while keeping an eye on everything that is going on around them. PVP is just reaction. Someone uses this, i do that.

WoW PvP was pretty big around TBC, the major esports tournaments (MLG, IEM, Dreamhack) all had wow. You're right though, PvE was always the focus.
