Hey! These lights are way better! I should get the same. Also been thinking about getting the same exhaust for my new Sportster S. Worried about reliability with this thing but fingers crossed. It was just too cool looking and such good cruiser performance to not go for it. It is on warrently but I just would rather not deal with the bike going at the dealership half the time. I keep reading about people having 'can't start' issues and a few other things. Just looking for more perspectives. Have you had any issues like that?
I used to have occasional check engine lights on startup (probably because of my aftermarket exhaust and cat delete). BUT, recently Harley released a new software update and for most of this summer I have had zero issues. On top of that, the bike never failed to start as shown in earlier videos and never ran weird. I would just rev low for the first 2 seconds or so of a cold start. But again, those issues went away after the last major software update. Since I bought it, it was at the dealer 4 times. Once for first service, once for a dripping coolant line, once for this software update, and once for another software gremlin where the bike was displaying a “vin error” which the dealer had a fix for. I’ve put about 5000KM on the bike. So not a huge amount. I haven’t made a video about this yet, but I just sold the bike due to issues with my low back after having back surgery. The clamshell riding position rolled my low back a little too much for comfort and I wanted something a little more ergonomic. But I do still have a huge emotional attachment to the sportster. If you want to buy the Kodlin front turn signals from me I can make you a bit of a deal.
@@DrFearCo Hey man! Thanks for the really detailed response! Glad the software update seemed to fix things as it has for many people. I'm hoping I just don't run into much of anything beyond routine stuff. Too bad you had to sell the bike because of the back surgery! I've had some back issues myself close to my shoulder blades that took months to recover but fortunately never had to get surgery. I'm sure you will love whatever the next bike is! No turn signals for me at this time (same for the exhaust I just have that on my future hopes and dreams shopping list) I live in fear I will wake up to my wife chopping my balls off for daring to even buy the bike itself! So mods will be slow and steady. Haha! She is actually really great but this bike caused a bit on tension. But we will get over it! Thanks for the response!
Thank u for the disassembly, new turns are cute
⚡️Looks Super Clean, Good Job⚡️
Nice Job, just out of interest where did you get the bag from, looks good and a useful add on for a bike with no storage.
The bar bag is from Thrashin. They make lots of Harley accessories.

@@DrFearCodo you still have the signals?
@@DrFearCodo you still have the aftermarket signals?
Great job. 🇺🇲👏🏼
Want to sell the old signals? I'll buy them!
I’m planning to keep all the stock parts for when I sell it in the future. Sorry!
