Sharp lookin bike! The choose of the Lamborghini orange color was definitely a good step up from the "all to common" black Harley, Well done as always, and yes, I found it to be entertaining from start to finish. Keep up the good work.
Lots of black Harleys out there, that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if HD starts producing this color or something very similar in their lineup soon. The first year of the Pan Am they used orange, but it was lighter tone.
I'm 5'8 so I'd definitely opt for mids. I'd also a more comfortable seat and blacked out pipes that aren't too loud. Orange is a good colour for this bike.
I’m probably gonna be the first one to say this but I just got off the phone with Denali because my horn has lubricant leaking from it because the compressor is not supposed to be on its side like you guys did in the video I installed it exactly like yalls and now I’m out $114 because they won’t replace it on warranty since it was on its side the compressor since leaking has stopped working and before you say they should put that in the instructions they did it clearly states that but I didn’t use them i just followed yalls video
I don’t think problem with the mid controls is being to tall. I’m 6’5” with a 35in inseam and genuinely preferred them to the forwards. I think it’s mostly about what your used to. I’m used to sport bikes and streetfighters, so to me it’s fine. But someone coming off of a bagger or cruiser with forwards. It’s really gonna feel cramped
Agreed. It's a different feel and sometimes just comes down to preference. We're still on the hunt for some rear controls...so, talk about sports bike feel.
hello, I would like to know what paint and the process to repaint the stainless steel protectors on the silencer in black please...thank you!!!very good job your projet !!!
I absolutely luv the new Sportsters; I want one. But, I am not giving up my Old Sportster and Softail Springer. I want a cool Water-Cooled Bike that can perform without putting a ton of money into it. It's time for a Modern, Third, Bike to go with my Classic Scoots. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Absolutely agree with you. If you can add one to your garage without giving up the others, that would be the perfect scenario. We have had a blast riding this bike. Definitely a different sound than the traditional bikes, but tons of acceleration fun.
The installation of the SoundBomb's compressor in this video is NOT acceptable according to the install instructions: "The compressor should be mounted so that the cylinder is vertical with no more than a 25 degree variance from the vertical position." There is lubricant inside that will work itself out if the compressor is mounted on it's side. Mounting it this way also voids the warranty (at least if you tell Denali how it was mounted, and they WILL ask).
LOVE the orange. Should be a factory color. Still hate the way the bike sounds, though. Yet to see anyone produce anything even close to a good noise from it.
You will never get this engine to sound right. The engines stroke is too short to produce the low toned rumble we all want to hear. It would be interesting to hear what a custom stroker Sportster S engine would sound like?
@@stevem4783 Actually I like most things about the RevMax bikes except the horrible sound. Also think the gas tank of the Sportster S is a joke. I am sure H D could install a spout to the tank so you don't have to mess about with the seat every time you fill-up? I'll wait another year or two to see what changes are made to the bike.
This is amazing. You are very patient your your craft and everything looks nice and tidy. I have a sportster s and the only thing I would change is the exhaust note/sound. I love the aesthetics but the sound is not great. Every option of exhaust for the sportster s is either ugly (or ruins the look of the bike) or incredibly expensive...can one justify the 3k price tag on the Jekyll and Hyde Apex? Not me. By the way, how are the heated grips treating you? Is it really hot like a cup of coffee or just warm to the touch? Kind regards from Portugal
Thanks for the kind remarks! We agree, there seems to be a lack of exhausts that fit the bike's lines well and the right aesthetics. We have been doing lots of research on what type exhaust would be the best fit, while giving it a more aggressive sound note. As brilliant as these new Revolution Max engines are, they are certainly not the traditional Harley noise we're used to. The Jekyll and Hyde is one of our favorites on the market right now, but the price is a tough pill to swallow. Whatever exhaust we end up choosing, we'll certainly be filming the experience. Let us know what exhaust you end up choosing. The heated grips work well and get nice and toasty. No complaints and worth every penny on those cold morning rides. Comes with 3 setting levels and I've rarely used the highest setting.
Greetings, from the United States. Yes, the original color was Vivid Black. The new paint is called ‘Lamborghini Orange’. It was painted by a local paint shop. Thanks for watching!
I'm torn with this bike The exhaust sometimes looks cool, other times looks goofy I've seen thinner pipes and they look stupid I need to find better looking exhaust pipes before I buy this
It's rather a shame that HD, for all the beauty of the new Sportster, still produced a bike which sounds like a glorified sewing machine. So what will it take to get back that Harley rumble ?
There is next to no aftermarket for this bike. I had one for 4 months and sold it for a low rider s. fun bike but not for anyone living outside a city.
Chad's getting close to having had the Sportster S for a year and we felt the same way. Kinda' frustrating when your eager to make the bike your own. However, lately we are starting to see a little more variety pop up. Still a long way from the aftermarket that supports other HD models.
Bike looks amazing!!! NGL it crushed my spirit to see you reinstall the stock exhaust
Us too! Don't worry, exhaust is on the agenda. In fact, Daytona trip video gives some insight.
Also, to add to my last comment, get yourself a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde exhaust system is awesome and sounds great. Hopefully, you will appreciate it.

Glad 2C someone is modding a S. IMO & many others mid controls give you THE most control/leverage regardless of whether its the most comfortable.
Modding is fun. Better leverage with this kind of torque is what we were hoping for.
Great video. Love watching you work on the sporters s
That color looks killer against the black and bronze 🤙🤙
Frickin looks awesome in that orange 🍊
this color is just dope. I had it on my head and now I watched it on HD. Thanks for the video and for amazing work👍
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it.

We're actually considering researching rear sets now. Maybe to better plant yourself in the seat.
@@advisticsI’ve seen rear controls looks pretty sweet

This is awesome I wish I had money to do this 😢 thanks for letting me live vicariously through your video
So glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully we'll have more in the future that you'll enjoy.
Chad check out the “ ZARD exhaust” that’s what I put on my S , looks and sounds great
That's one of the exhaust that has caught his eye. I think he's down to 3 that he is considering.
U should make a video on how to remove the tank I’m gonna wrap mine soon and having it off the bike will make it a lot easier
Love the build. Have a 2021 model and i got it wrapped in almost the same exact orange.
Nice! We're pretty happy with how the color came out.

All that work and No Tail Tidy, to get rid of that terrible rear turn signals and scaffolding rack !!
Totally agree. It'll happen.
@@advistics what paint did you use to paint the stainless heat shield in the back?
@@smreaper4543 I had it powder coated.
Harley never should have shipped with that back end. They made a great looking bike except that bit.
It's the only thing holding me back😊
Sato Racing makes a set of rear controls now to give the sportier aggressive riding style.
Next mod you need to do is a kodlin 1in suspension lift. Raise the ass end up a little and give you some better corner clearance
We just did that on an older Sportster. Video coming.
Any way we could get a video for uninstalling the tank? Or a video on how to install the intake?
Nice paint job ... pays homage to flat track racers.
the first to go would be that exhaust ; to have a low riding for passenger comfort

I'll have to take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.

seeems like litle space to have/ should have; only your toes on the clutch .
Yea i would have get rid of the awful terrible license plate bracket also, when you are doing that much… overall, nice build!
It's in the works. We actually have already modified the tail end, but not really happy with the outcome. We have another one on order.
nice color dude question What did you do with the tank Harley Davidson sticker ?Did you replace it ?

Hi, awesome video. May I know how did you get your paint job done ? How much did that cost roughly ? Thanks !
Hi, thanks! We have a local friend who does paint work and did us a favor. However, we also got the paint job ceramic coated. That cost $500 USD.
Any tips on taking the gas tank off
Nice Boys ❤Harley for ever
looks so cool ! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Thanks!
Is it possible to replace the rear tire with a wider one?
Can you reprogram the horn to play Chad's laugh instead of the insanely loud honk? lol
That'll get them out of the way!

Sato racing makes rear sets for the S.
Took a look at those. Did not like that they did not fold.
When are we going to see clip on bars for the s?
I personally think that would look good, but not too sure Chad's interested in changing up the handle bars right now.
commmo problem to wear specific shoes with small toe
Funny how much they keep going back to buell resemblesis and ideas lol
There's no rear "mud guard"??
Haha, we need one!

Nice one bro
Thanks 🔥

We have a new exhaust now. We're planning a video to discuss it, but not an install video.
What is the mod to make the left side of engine less ugly?
That mod would be a worthy investment.
Is the air box of the Sportster s made of metal??
No. Plastic.
Savannah Harley broke something on mine just checking the air filter, the things been nothing but a lemon 🍋
Hate to hear that. Chad had some issues with the key fob module initially, but we were able to work that out.
Needs a rear fender delete.
Nice job, the sound just doesn’t hit.
Agreed. Hoping that we’ll address the sound soon.
2 Million Dollar Bogan? !

It's not for everyone.
Couldn’t do a start up with the mufflers off?? Damn.
Oh man...wish we would have thought of that. If we decide to upgrade the exhaust, we'll have another opportunity.
